Is there any fun in pvping since i13 ?
It's not worth it. You are correct.
Actually, it can be worth it - plus, GR might bring a few interesting changes

I'm normally quite receptive to your shameless spinning GG, but PvP being [censored] these days isn't the kind of thing you can just winkie away :<

It depends if you look at it as a work in progress or not
They mentioned again at Comic-Con yesterday how they're planning on making 50s more powerful - so that the toughest challenges right now seem easy to them - so if that kind of boost to a 50 was used in old style PvP, it might have made builds too uber.

Well I wont hold my breath, its seems like the more changes they make the worst off it becomes, this is just my opinion of course, but only time will tell.
Well, according to that NCSoft marketing survey, which first mentioned MA and GR long before they were even a rumor on the boards:
[ QUOTE ]
Accomplishments will lead to rewards that will significantly distinguish level 50 characters from one another. One such reward is the Universal Enhancement Slots. Ten Universal Enhancement Slots are available to be earned in the expansion, and each one has the potential of adding significant power to the character, essentially bringing them to a hypothetical "Level 60" once they have earned all ten slots
[/ QUOTE ]
So the I13 PvP changes look like they're opening the way for something similar to this.

I love how much faith you have. But I think any holding of breath would lead to considerable backfire

This game still has pvp'ers?
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
I prefer the old style PvP, but the sheer numbers in zone (Freedom RV) at times make for interesting battles. Having 50's on either side I just switch back and forth to help whichever side needs it the most.

I'm sure the devs consider this "moar people PvP'ing!" which proves I13 was good for the game.

A vet of 3 years plus, I remember the days when most of the pvp zones were busy, now a days I find the odd bit of pvp going on in RV, and even then it just aint fun. Am I the only one that feels this way lol. I have enough lvl 50's that are pretty much fully IOed, but it hardly seems like it was worth it now.

I couldn't agree more. But honestly, pvp can be fun, providing you can find anyone in the zones to pvp. But yo're right, pvp isn't what it use to be. Its really died down on Pinnacle. At least we had people in the zones, now its a ghost town. I sat for 5 hours on my villain getting the badge for being in Siens Call for the accolade, and only 3 people showed up in that 5 hour time period.

So they nerfed everybody making them hella weak to just give back again? Yay logic.

But mostly nerfs.
I just wish they'd offer a zone without any travel suppression, DR, or anything else. Just pure unrestricted numbers.
I was thinking that they the 10 universal slots will start off real powerful, but as time goes by, they'll be subjected to nerfs so there can be a new "uptweak".
They likely go into different pots though and the tiny dip in subs weighed against what was likely a fairly sizable spike in xfer fees probably makes them look good on paper.
And xfer fees probably go into the pot that lets them design new booster packs to further fuel the MT's.
If you want to pvp, I suggest you beta test CO or Aion. The devs have successfully ruined their own game's pvp system, and utterly alienated an incredibly loyal albeit small playerbase in the process.

I have occassional pockets of fun, nothing sustained though, not like before i12 where i'd go to sleep dreaming of builds to compete with. Now i just pick a damage oriented build, slot up and pew pew. Now if you get a kill, it's just not the same satisfaction like it used to be, it feels like a expolit. Keep suppressing someone until they die, it's no real strategy it's odd that, slows and debuffs dont slow you from the actual move itself, but you slow from being suppressed.
I just hope the devs take this final hail mary pass (GR) and use it to restore pvp to a more viable(fun) build, remove all these changes exept for the positive ones on the short list, like the toggle not dropping deal off the top of my head i can remember.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

As a relatively new player, I'd personally like to see more PvPers in my farm zones.
I don't PvP competitively because it honestly isn't worth learning a new system. I don't know what DR is or why my slows don't work, quite frankly I don't care about the why, i'm quite simple like that. If PvP is going to be so drasticly different from my PvE experience... I'm not going to bother with it.
I'll just find another game if I want to try PvP.
