Hmmm a toughie but I'd have to go for things a little out the box
Fire Imps on the basis they behave and dont just run at stuff and wreck the joint
Pocket D VIP Pass C'mon who wouldn't want an instant TP to the pub/club

Of course, all the nukes are very pretty. I can see myself setting off the sonic nuke in the classroom when the kids give me a hard time. Just going leloocorbendallasmultipassbigbadaboom on them!
Having the ability to spawn loyal henchmen could be rather useful too: Clean up, do the dishes, get me another beer.
But I think we can all deffo agree: A travel power, any one would be great. It is rather interesting, with all the jetpacks that are around now, that so many still pick "fly" as the in-game means of travel since it has little in-mish use unlike the other powers.
however I do miss super hearing, super sight, x-ray vision, grabbling hook, superspeed up a wall, "regular" telepathy etc.
...and if I could teleport, I'd want to customize it. I like the AV that turns into a clay'ish blob before disappearing. ..and why don't we have a toggle (like Costume emotes) for the fly pose yet? Yes, we need travel power customization!
...but not animated hair, please! (wait for it, wait)

You don't mean the four fly poses themselves, do you? Or do you mean some kind of "Up, up and away!" poses we can /e before taking off?
In the early beta's for CoH, there used to be a forward somersault animation when you activated fly...

Superspeed, hasten en fly.
Fly to show off, hasten to do more in less time and superspeed for bypassing the annoying trafficjams

Sound like someone you know? I confess I grew up on the DC heroes, so I've always loved the Supes. Despite the Supergirl movie having the worst imaginable plot, somehow it didn't stop me from loving it (I own it on DVD and I regret nothing). That doesn't necessarily mean that DC Online is going to steal me away from CoX, but I've always wanted to play a game where you really get the feeling you're an indestructible hero.
I might not get the opportunity to be Supergirl in CoH, but it's come close enough to the experience I wanted that it's kept me here for 2 years so far.

Placate(assuming the effects of Hide follow), Clear Mind and Fortitude.
I would not wish myself great innate power, especially that of a destructive nature, or the capacity to dominate other minds, nor would I want immortality or the capability to avert or reverse that which is natural, such as death. I have no need or wish to destroy, or to dominate and manipulate others to a great extent, and I would prefer to remain low-key.
Two things it saddens, or frustrates me, to see in people is lack of confidence and, in the other extreme, obnoxious brashness. Clear Mind and Fortitude might work to overcome those without actual destruction of personality, of the individual, that straight-up mind control would cause. There is still however a huge grey area over whether doing that'd still be wrong; am I just doing the same thing in trying to make other people more like me, just hiding it behind prettier words?
Placate... I would just like to have. Even if it's probably better I didn't, in the sense that it'd give me a means to avoid confrontation I should probably face up to. It could, however, be incredibly useful in the case of literal confrontation, e.g, a mugging. Either in a fully defensive capacity, to walk away, or offensive, to clock them one while they're slightly confused about what they were doing there.
And though I mean Fortitude chiefly in the sense of mental fortitude, I would hope physical fortitude is fitted into the deal, too. You would wish for those around you to remain healthy.
