What Sitriel said. The in-game lore (wisely IMO) completely avoids any issues relating to sexuality, short of "such and such is the child of so and so".

Well TY for the responses but they still don't really answer the question, To Jamieb I would have to politely disagree with regard to issues of sexuality in game because Manticore did wed Sister Syche which did flaunt those characters sexuality 
and i'm sure there are many other examples.

There's also a radio mission where you have to rescue the GF of a hero who's been kidnapped and the hero is in the Shadow Shards. it is mentioned, just not very often.
