I think this is being looked at in completely the wrong way.
If the top 100 is dominated by farmers. Surely an SG that doesn't farm being in the top 100 is more of an achievment? This is because all the Farming SGs earn their prestigue at an extremely fast rate, so those that do it by doing TFs and teaming in SG mode should be more proud of themseleves? (either that or the farmers are S***.)
It brings more value to the list, as although the 100-90th place is easy to get too with lack of active SGs, rising and beating the farmers is quite an achievment.

I find my self agreeing with this if every one is taking the easy way to the top 100 and some one manages to get in there doing things the hard way surely there acquirement is even greater.

No doubt there are shades of grey here, however I always view farming as a team who deliberately reset and restart certain missions over and over or exploit MA weaknesses. Things like double xp weekends are there for all.

I was only using that as an example to show that as their is no clear view on farming that everyone can agree on, there is no point in even going on about the farming in this thread.
Some people would class doing radio missions over and over as farming (no resetting and restarting there)
Others would class doing TFs many times a week in SG mode as farming
There are so many people that say So many different kind of things about farming that to alot of people every single SG in the top 100 has farmed at some point.

Still well done to him and his SG for getting up there.
But Reality Sucks isn't really farming is it? I thought to farm you needed a decent fire/kin and one of those resetting maps. We just go in with normal teams...:/
fire/kins are for newb farmers!
Much prefer the other type of farmers, they take a bit of skill but when used wow are they good

Yup any toon(s) can farm I use a dark/fire brute or a bots/poison MM when I'm doing it
Tho here's a question is doing only paper missions farming? I mean all you do is look at paper pick mission that sounds the best over and over again with the occasional brake to go rob a bank.
that must be some form of farming as well?
Also street sweeping that's basically farming without the constant need to reset the map.

I actually used to farm paper missions Though that was more to get as many temps as i could during my "look at all my temp powers!! Woooooo they're awesome!" life, great now i want to go on a mad temp power rush again now.
Nukes/warwolves/clockwork/mines/teargas . . . gotta collect them all! Tempo powers!!!!

Makes me wonder though... Has anyone recreated the original Dreck mission yet?

I remember relishing in the idea of all the temp powers I could get through Ouro when it was released.. Oh those were the good days I always went for the summoning ones and never used them lol

I usually put Dreck on it though... for old times sake

Alas, my car engine seized up a few weeks ago and the credit card company now own my soul to a 4 figure amount...
It's probably just the one month, I'll no doubt find the 9 quid elsewhere soon enough, but for this billing period, I just don't have it.

What we have to do then is agree on a list of things that are considered farming? I can only say that by my definitions of farming I have never farmed. I consider real life farming boring enough....
