  1. True, but they could've made that clear. On the other hand, if you're choosing redside surely you should get the VEATs? Well, I guess I don't know enough (or any) of the backstory...if that has anything to do with it.

    Ah well, nevermind .
  2. Bugger! Thanks for the info, I just wish they'd made it clearer...:/

  3. Tried all of that, still didnt work . I contacted support a couple of days ago, so hopefully i'll get a reply soon.

    Thanks

  4. Hey,

Recently I created a DS/Dark Mastermind in Praetoria. I got him upto level 20, then moved him to Villains. It didn't lock any of the epic archetypes. I thought that maybe I needed to hit a level first, so I levelled him to 21 and still no change. I then made a new villain and got him to level 2, to see if that activated it, but theyre still grayed out.

Do I have to make a villain from scratch to unlock these?

    Thanks

Stacker, you fancy building a cool room on Defiant EU? We're an active SG with around 22.7M prestige.

I allow members to edit the base (When I'm online to oversee of course ), so it'll be used quite a lot.

Currently we have around 15M unspent prestige.

    Cheers.
  6. Hey buddy,

Can you do this EU side too?

I'm on Defiant EU, and would like 100M if possible .

    Thanks.

  7. Hi, thanks for a sensible reply..

Well, I could have used the hundreds of other Fire/Kin posts, but really I wanted something to improve on my own build, buying a load of different sets etc would've been a nightmare so that's why I didnt just look at another build.

However, I have now found my information.

Thanks Lewis also for a sensible reply, but I think that what Fury posted earliet, such as,

"You have a lot of newbies asking about multi-billion fire/kin farming builds who don't have any understanding about the power sets or even simple game mechanics"

Is pretty rude. It's subtle, but insinuating that I'm a farmer (where as I have no intention of doing so as I mentioned previously) who has no clue about what I'm doing.

Never judge a book by its cover...
  8. Maybe not, however, joining my thread and posting absolute nuisance in the rudest and ill-mannered way makes him an *** in my book. All I wanted was some friendly advice, of which I have already received. Also, being an open forum does not give him the right to post in such a way.

Maybe you should stop talking out of ignorance and do a little research. And I'm hardly a hater, but I'll call a kettle black if that's what it takes.
If for instance, someone wants personal advice on their build, there's no use searching dozens and dozens of posts which do not relate to it. I did do searching, however I found no more than mediocre builds posted by people with less wit than a monkey- for the most part. And the good builds that I did find were NOTHING like my own build. All I wanted to do was expand on what I have rather than re-vamping completely and I see no harm in that whatsoever.

Go be a cop somewhere else.

Oh and FYI - Next time you come invading a thread with a useless post, try and not be so rude to the OP. I did nothing wrong, and i'm not one of those "gimme d'advizes plz" people.

The same sort of thing has been happening in the scrapper forum (though not to this degree) about shield scrappers, so I put together a consolidated thread about dealing with those issues. I'd do the same here, but I don't think it would do any good. I think the scrapper forums are somewhat better "policed" than here and they also seem to attract more of a veteran crowd.

You have a lot of newbies asking about multi-billion fire/kin farming builds who don't have any understanding about the power sets or even simple game mechanics. I don't know if all the writing in the world can resolve this sort of issue.
There are a huge amount of variations and variables to the Fire/Kin build > Did you read our discussion about Cinders and Flashfire? There was ABSOLUTELY nothing about being unique in this thread, and all I wanted was some advice on how to improve my OWN build.

I think you really need to grow up a bit and stop being such an absolute ***. You'll never get through life being a moron and a moaner tbh. Be positive...
  11. Fire/Kin's are great in teams too...Every team I've been on has been thrilled to have heals, lots more damage and Endurance boosts, amongst other things!

Err how can you say that? Flashfire is one of your most important powers. It provides a BRILLIANT mob stun/choke which can be used effectively every mob (especially if you get the recharge down like I now have). Using flashfire prevents any damage to the fire/kin and saves you from countless situations. It is great for both team play, and solo play and is a must. Wasting a power choice on Ring of Fire is a no-no...You have fire cages/flashfire so you won't need that.

Cinders is an extra power choice for me, and it's a marmite power. Sometimes, when I'm in a mob and somethings going terribly wrong, i'll fire off cinders and i'll have that extra protection from stunned enemies. I'm glad I took it!
  13. Hey, yeah actually I have Psi Tornado on my Mind/Storm troller, doesn't do much damage and it does take a little longer to cast.

I dont use it for farming but i'll check stone out anyway!

    Thanks
  14. Well, Fire Ball is one of my most important powers, so if there's something in the Psi mastery that can match that, i'm fine with it!
  15. Hey,

That LoTG is Defense/Increased Global Recharge Speed. But mids just says Defense/Rech! :/

Oh and as for some of the things not being sets, that was because I had loads left over and the build was temporary. I've now replaced them all with sets !
  16. Thanks for the advice guys, it's all helping.

And yeah the End Red etc is just to complete a set bonus.

  17. Huh? I've got hasten :/.

I do understand ED, but not fully. The only reason I slotted the extra DMG was because it offered a small % in return and that's all I wanted, but i'm changing that for something else now .
  18. Thanks for the advice, i've already got the Glads Armor in place - All these I have on my current build except the two purple sets SA and Amaze.

I don't really use Char much, but i'll move some slots round.

    Thanks again for the advice
  19. Well i'm new to making builds, and there's a huge amount wrong with mine i'm guessing, but i'd rather not get "accused of runing the fire/kin build for everyone" and things like that . Just some friendly advice please!

Oh and yeah, there are some weird things, like the stupefy in Boxing, but I had one spare so I just chucked it in (this is my actual build, except Soulbound Allegiance and Amaze) (;.

Oh and Char's empty at the moment, just gonna put a set on which can give me a nice bonus, haven't thought of that yet.

  21. Thanks for the build DSorrow, I really appreciate it !
  22. Hey guys,

I made a Cold/Rad toon and I'm really enjoying him! He's called Radiated Lightning . At the moment he's level 18, but I haven't even taken a travel power pool or the fitness pool as I'm enjoying his powers so much (I'll respec once im higher and take them as soon as they become available without a doubt). Currently im using the Raptor pack to travel, and end isnt a big problem in big groups.

Anyways, could anyone make a good build for me that I could follow? Hopefully it could be adjusted to give me slighly more damage than the average /Rad defender as I know they're low on damage (so far damage seems to be great so maybe it'll loose out higher on).

Thanks in advance - PS - I'd like Superspeed as a travel power to combine with Arctic Fog for invisibility.

    Thanks guys!
  23. Sweet! I'm about to test this out now .
  24. Okay I went onto it and it seems fine now, same goes for the launcher.
