Patience and missing out on WW altogether - but swapping back to CoX every few minutes to stop myself AFK'ing out so it still logs!

The logs aren't easy to read especially when so much chat is happenning so quickly...

TBH, he said absolutely bugger all to sway me from canceling my sub tomorrow. Quite the opposite in face. And I suspect his address is going to be equally naff as far as upcoming news is concerned. It's just going to be some more self-patting on the back.

this what utterly disgusting. Tbh this is now really making me consider when CO comes out to go play that.... and im not CO greatest fan

I mean head dev of a game and he dismisses a very valid part of the game. its the castle/lighthouse facade all over again .... where in many ppls eyes the wrong person was sacked

But what would you do in a jungle zone? City zones work because they are city zones: there are shops, and universities and base portals and trainers and police stations and warehouses and office buildings and alleyways where crime can take place.

A jungle zone would be a great place to set a mission arc or a task-force, but then what? What would be the point of having it as a zone?

The same reason as other zones - for mission arcs and a TF.
Think 20s and 30s pulp - lost citites, exotic mysteries and Tarzan type stuff.
A jungle zone is no different than a moon zone - both would take us from the city to a remote environment to combat some new threat, and the zone history would be revealed through story arcs and a TF.

And as for deserts - think Egypt and pyramids - you know it makes sense

Its all the questions answered by posi on the training server today, Judgement Dave managed to recover some more questions that I didnt get around to yet so I merged them.

Positron was on the EU test server from about 17:00 BST until 19:00 BST (when he had to leave for a meeting). This is a colection of info from him in person at the pocket D on test.

He didn't dismiss PvP. He dismissed a line of questioning that had already been answered and dealt with, but kept getting asked.

What did you expect him to do, drop all the other topics and questions and spend the entire session in a lengthy debate about the merits of the various PVP systems? His time here was limited. You made your point. He gave his answer.

correction i changed the line of fire with suggestions to improve gameplay in PvP - he blatently ignored it. and then when offered to listen to our ideas in a constructive way he completely blanked it. this is terrible PR and very good alieation at the same time, sorry leese but we as the PvP community have a right to voce our thoughts to (and never once were they destructive either). not just to get told (like a kid does) lah la lah laaaaaa im not listening to u *raspberry*

I asked loads of questions, none of them PvP related - and only got answers on like 3 or 4 of them - it just wasn't possible for him to answer everyone, and he did actually say that he wans't going to be answerring anymore PvP ones.

its a cop out we offered hm a chance tospeak to us away from the set up like at a point where it comnveinient for him about how we thin pvp could be improved and nothing not even i'll think about it. the comment hat enraged us the most was .... when asked about the current state of pvp and how its causing so much unrest . he aswered "We're very happy with it", its not about if he devs like it they dont play for the game we d. and were sufering becoz of their sefish nature... now thats fugging awlful PR

well granted msn bit was a bit ott but he could have offered to give us some time when hes free instead of blanking it and running away and not even akwlodeging us very well

im sorry but evey since 13 pvp was relesed the devs havnet given us ne straight answer todays "well we like it" was polly the first straight answer on the given subject

Seriously though, as contentious as the PvP changes have been, and as heated the forum debates on them have been, you couldn't honestly expect him to discuss it in a free-for-all Q/A session. No matter what he said it would have turned ugly.

i dont think it would have done tbh... i was calm as was massive and rent as well as nitro a guy from vigalence. al we wanted was answer to our suggestions afer the inital bombarding and he blanked it and yes i do have the logs to prove that

Which is why it was more sensible to avoid it, and concentrate on answering questions where one answer would be enough.
