I agree that we dont need all this [censored] talkin rubbish, i been in RV recently with my "adapted" stalker and not noticed much tbh.. i had a gud night last night which was sum nice friendly PVP which i thanked all for when i left the zone.. thus endin the night with on a high if that can be said of PVP part deux..

I am still tryin to get my head round the new PVP and i agree with peeps that say it's just too dull. i even found a vid to represent the new stalker style of PVP which is just too weird imo

who knows max, maybe with lots more respect going around it will continue, i certainly hope so, and i must admit ive noticed a lot less insults going around in last week so im a lot happier now i can turn on braodcast in rv

haha respect indeed, i feel i got plenty wen me n mental kill vs 2 stalkers and 2 brutes turned into 3 on 9 to put us to rest . privilidge tbh and oh i abuse consume hahaha, that made me lol, was fun tho

If PvP picks up again, I might start playing more often.

Back OT, I actually enjoy the smack talk... When someone starts up at me I'll often talk back. It livens things up and it becomes a bit of a fun challenge to wind them up as far as I can without actually violating the EULA or being too mean. I must admit I've had some fantastic spats with Donna in sirens. Good fun.

Being cheerful and laughing at people makes them so much more frustrated than a string of foulmouthed insults.

Dont know really.Most of the insults i heard recently was from noobs insulting people for not standing still to hit them but the majority of the insults was not directed towards players but towards Castle.

Just put that video into a PvP aspect; if there's no enemy, there's no PvP, the same way as if there's no referee in football, no game of football.

This conversation reminds me of when I used to PvP a lot, with SweetChilli and the likes. Rooftop meetings in Warburg, dozen or so fighters, nice fun organized battles. Those where the days.

But I can empathise with trying to fight someone you cant target, seeing how retarded the tab key is. It always picks PvE enemies, without fail. And clicking is hard, if they move (duh)

There was a little revival on Defiant last night - a 5 vs 5 fight in RV - it was my first try out of the I13 PvP changes.
And I can't really see what the problems are - my heals seemed to do less, but recharge faster, which kinda balances out - plus, people were now able to stun and knock each other over even when they had mez and kb protection, so the fights were more dynamic, and felt more like a brawl rather than a slugging match.
Also, the movement fixes meant even though I was a melee AT, I could still chase down ranged targets pretty well.
So, in general, the fight I was in last night was faster than the old PvP, with less use of SJ, more knockdowns and brief stuns, and more balance between rnaged and melee ATs.

One thing they could do is make the hospital rez give you full health and end, as you die more often now

PvP isn't supposted to be either. It should be a fight, not a brawl. The dictionary says a brawl is a "a noisy quarrel or a squabble". Surely PvP isn't supposted to be like that?

well i have to say that since i started the thread a few weeks ago the bad language and insults have reduced a lot much to the enjoyment of a few peeps and an all round friendlier approach has happened whilst we try to kill each other, ohh the irony of it all, im trying to get peeps not insult whilst being killed lol ..
