as post header says?? ive been playing COX for over 3 years and pvped most of it,then devs came along and ruined an awesome game IMO, i think it would help the resident base of pvpers to understand the crazy devs choices if we all understood therre ultimate goals,
if they are after easy ways for new players to play,then the answer is simple sides need to be the same ie, villains need to have blasters and heros need to have stalkers and so on you see were im going with this?the problem with pvp is the balance, anyway im writing this more as an epitaph since they decicded to nuetor my beloved fort im cancelling my subs and moving on im going to find a game were development team actually listen to there PAYING customers
PS i never known customer service like this with all the new competion on its way, methinks COX devs should at least be thinking about how there gonna feed there familys and pay there bills in the future cause you wont be getting my help with that , Also i would like to say a big thanks to all the peeps that have helped me over the years and thanks to all the frinds ive made i will miss you all , hope to see you all on another game -
Even simpler , ROLLBACK to i12 ,make a copy of each zone, one zone allows IOs one zone doesnt,i cant see how hard that is do

Another simple answer ,ROLLBACK to i12, BB doesnt allow IOs all players will be exemplered to same lvl and BONUS from ios doesnt apply,
same for sirens its a fun place when there are a few there and should remain a fun training ground,IMO
warburg allows IOs and bonus 1st toes in waters elite pvp and should not be coop .
RV as it is now,this is were the bigboys play you want to play step up and buy the ios, all IMO -
At the end of the day, NCsoft let us do what we want in missions, you pay your subs, up to you how play and have fun, some have fun farming ,some have fun pvping, some have fun reading great player created content,some have fun fishing thru the markets buying andselling its up to you how you choose to have fun, plz dont make people enjoy it your way, you dont have to click on the mision btw

PvP isn't supposted to be either. It should be a fight, not a brawl. The dictionary says a brawl is a "a noisy quarrel or a squabble". Surely PvP isn't supposted to be like that?

well i have to say that since i started the thread a few weeks ago the bad language and insults have reduced a lot much to the enjoyment of a few peeps and an all round friendlier approach has happened whilst we try to kill each other, ohh the irony of it all, im trying to get peeps not insult whilst being killed lol ..

hi guys
from a villian point of veiw all we see is ss/ice tanks(plus shotas fire tank still ss)and blasters living in bubbles waiting to snipe your last 3 points of health so i have to also agree with charnell,on the same point if a corr turns up there either killed in 3 hits by ss attacks of sniped to death, there realy is no point in trying anything that doesnt have armour or some sort of defence powers. -
a little addition to my post, Been in rv all night were there was 25 peeps for about 5 hours what a blast and not one person used insults all night we all had a awesome time killing each other and was a lot of respect going around, you all know who you were, thanks again guys for a great night of balls on fire PVP best night since I13

Hi everyone
recently in RV i have noticed all the insults and abuse that players are launching at others on broadcast,i know this subject has bin posted about loads of times but i still need to say this, !st things 1st the pvp zones have no rules your in there to KILL other players nothing else, so then why do peeps start throwing insults when they get killed why is it that peeps cant just respect other players after all we alll have something in common PVP and COH if you get killed by the same player over and over what makes you think that insulting them is gona make that stop, personly when someone insults me i TARGET THEM THEM TILL THEY LEAVE im there to show my shiz to all that wanna challenge it if you beat me constantly i understand that i got a hole in my shiz and try to work out how to fix it insulting the other player wont fix my own shortcomings.
so im asking real nice if peeps can please lay of the insults its dont solve anything.
1 other thing if your farming the juicy goldmine that is the pillboxes dont expect me to leave you alone either its a pvp zone not a load my inf zone, there are no rules in the zones that means you enter and your fair game.

hi guys, something to bear in mind concerning your question is elusivty which has bin added to all defence based ATs which always adds in another chance for you to miss no matter how high you get your acc(think of it as another roll of the dice), also to-hit is what you need ,but DR pretty much stops you getting to high,sorry its not answering your questions,you can still get pretty good acc with IO boni

this may be an out of date responce, but i want my 20pence on file, Concerning farming,Its your game when you pay the subs,its up you how you wanna play, i wish everyone would allow people to enjoy this game anyway they choose as long as its not griefing.
Why should it bother anyone else if you wanna take a bunch of like minded people and make inf in this game? as long as you dont sell it for real money i dont see that its anyone elses business,Rant over lol. -
Hi gemete, nice build,i have to say after completing my build a few days ago, im very happy with it, i bin thinking of changing to full def build,but it plays real good atmo, so ill just enjoy it and maybe makes some changes further down the road..and thanks for replying

hi , i took a look at your build on mids, heres a few things id change, but im no expert,,
you dont need the increased perception io, you have enough perception from tactical training, theres 1 slot spare,you also need to change the defence /recharge lotg in manuvers for the lotg triple, youl need the end, same with cloaking device,, do you need mental training ??. theres a few things to consider, when ive got more time, ill add if i see anything else.bear in mind im not an expert, but i have played game for many years

hi shannon, soz, i was rushed when posting, this build is active at mo and play very well in RV,this build is for high lvl pvp which is why some of the good stuff like mind link is put in at very late place, i went for -recharge -hp and plus damage as i say this build does very well at mo ,but theres definate room for improvement, this build also suits my playstyle of kiting

hi,
1st thing to learn in pvp is to die, you will get killed 5 million times b4 you learn anything , imo, its a steep learning curve,but once your round the corner pvp can be awesomly fun, anyway some real tips now lol.
stalkers, great fun to play, my advice as newby stalker is to sit back and pick your target at the stealth cap you got all the time in the world to set up your kill.
you are hit and run,on my stalker if they aint dead in 3 hits im out of the fight and running almost always anyway,sometimes if target has 1 hp ill go for it and take the death as long as i get my kill 1st im happy to die,also play with your char dont get stuck into a rutine way of killing, you need to be able to adapt fast pvp winds of change blow very fast sometimes
blasters ,as a blaster never ever ever ever stay still,there are some stalkers that can kill with out AS but its hard work, devices is awesome in sirens,great fun to play with and can demolish stalkers once you get used to how the set works in pvp.
hopefully theres some help in here ,my only real advice is to get used to dieing,but if you stick at it and get round the corner its so much fun

Cool, looks like we got a few interested and i like the idea of other ats aswell, reason for saying these 2 ats btw,was because they are fairly close in balance,same base resist and def one has fury one has crits,and also the arena sounds cool too,ill try and keepp the thread on top for another week or so and then maybe we make a date,so to speak lol
