Veat weaponry broken?
Yup me, sent in a bug report.
It seems to be certain Soldier attacks that don't draw the weapon out if it's stored/undrawn.
Seems to be Web Grenade and Burst which don't draw it
Tyger (50), Mutation-Controller Mind/FF - oldest Mind/FF on Union
Using the Nemesis staff, then using a VEAT attack power was causing it on my Arachnos Soldier. Worked around it by using Sands of MU veteran reward power, then attacking causing correct weapon re-draw.

well my veat soldier haven't had a correctly drawn weapon yet. Didn't use any of the vet powers so its not that.

I petitioned it and tested it abit.
If you choose the "Single Shot" you dont get graphics on any A, B or C guns. Did test it on male and female (not huge).
However, choose Pummel and you have grapics.
Did not test further then lvl 1 *cough*

Tested it on a huge model. Don't work with model c weapon (didnt test the other 2)
The gun will load when you use pummel. But to use it in combat you need to pummel first. After the gun is loaded, pummel wont restore it. So if you open with single shot it is invis and stays so for the entire combat.

Checked which powers don't draw so far on my Soldier when used first:
Single Shot - no weapon
Burst - weapon
Wide Area Web Grenade - no weapon
Heavy Burst - weapon
Equiped with C model weapon

Also when Void Soldiers shoot you, there is no gun and the animation is showing up later than the damage - I think it's related.
Any other drawn weapon powers showing the same issues? How is Assault Rifle, for example?

MY AR/dev blaster has no problems. Tried several weapons and most of the powers. All work fine.
I just made a post about this. It got deleted real quick. Pitty COX are not so efficient when it comes to fixing game-brakeing bugs, as they are at censorship. (Running around looking like a child with a pretend gun is a game-breaker for me.)
I started playing in December and I've never seen chat working properly. I don't think it's worth sticking around to see how long it takes for my toon to not look completely stupid.

I work on forum moderation. I do not work on game bugs. Likewise, the team at NCNC who do work on fixing bugs do not do forum moderation.

If you check the training room forum, you'll see patch notes for the next update. Chat is fixed.

i have the same problem on my VEAT. i've found that making a bind which makes my character shout 'pew pew pew' when shooting helps tremendously

The Rikti have the same problem now, noticed when Fighting some the other day they wasnt doing there attack animation yet the blasts were being shot.

BTW on my Bane there is also a problem with the attack mode. In this case she is holding her weapon (the energy mace) and instead of doing an attack, she just keeps it holding in ready mode when i use a ranged attack. This happens with every ranged attack and every weapon (tested it on 4 cossies).
i noticed this a couple weeks ago thought it was just me kind of glad to find out it's not hope this is fixed at some point invisible weapons get annoying after a while

tbh ill just delete it. I wanted to do SoA purely because of the gun. Pretty pointless if it is invisible half the time.
Tried creating a new veat (soldier) and I couldn't help notice that she is no longer holding her weapon. It looks a bit weird shooting with a invisible gun.
Anyone else got this problem?
