When do you think the I14 closed Beta will start?

I expect an announcement of something on the 3rd. I13 is a distant memory, we've had the winter event, the devs have had christmas, double XP was last week. Not much stands in the way of at least an update on their progress, or a filling in of I14 features.

I personally think that the "Official" teaser pages will be up this week or next with the Closed Beta starting on the 17th.

Back to seriousness, I expect it sometimes this month. It'll be probably be announced in Feb then go into closed beta in March, then open beta a week later, then another week later it will realase. Then an unpredicted I15 realase in April (no beta) and Jack Emmert will eat all our heads off, claiming he's the best in the world and everyone should bow to him and clean his underwear.
My bet is that I14 will be released at the 5th year anniversary.

This is the most important point. It makes no difference to us as we won't be in it, unless we have a US account of course. We won't see sod all till the open beta stress test begins.

Not necessarily true.
There's been at least one issue in recent release that got closed beta on the Test Server - I11 or I12 IIRC - the Rikti issue at any rate

Because that means open beta will follow a few weeks later, and then launch some weeks after that. Closed beta means it's not *too* far from launch.
No announcement today. I'm disappointed.
