I'm Swashbuckle, though in game you'll usually catch me as Josh Stormfall.

I don't get to play often anymore due to RL and hardly ever get a chance to look at the forums, but I still love the game and the people and have done for the 35 months I've been playing so far and my feet are firmly planted in Paragon City.

I would be totaly up for this, (I have never done Hami or Mothership) but due to my eratic work demands I wont reccomend any times / dates, but will do my best to free up the final time you decide on.

Young daughter murders gang boss

Early yesterday morning alleged gang boss Don Tortelli was stabbed to death as he slept by his 13 year old daughter Silvia. A spokesman from the Rogue Island Police commented, “The girl seemed in shock afterwards, she seemed not to know what she had done, still it’s one less piece of scum on the street so who cares.”
This is the fourth in a number of similar cases where key figures the Rogue Islands has been killed by either a family member or close advisor in the last 24 hours.

Rising Stars – unusual Broadcast

Anyone with certain powers watching the 19:00 showing of today’s episode of Super Group reality TV show Rising Stars may have seen some unusual activity of the live broadcast.
Rewatching on demand or who recorded it would not.

Speedsters may have noticed up to three subliminal images. The images were scrambled and would have looked a little like a single frame digital corruption of a one dollar bill, an eye and a sword.

Anyone with super hearing may have heard a high pitch (beyond human hearing) the phrase “As it is commanded” just before the first commercial break.

Sorry I couldn't make it in the end, it would have been great to reacquaint myself with you all, hope you all had a great time. Hope to see you at the next one.

Hope to make it there on Sunday, all things permitting. An accursed wedding is getting in the way of Saturday.

Initial blows would have been from behind and low to the victim as he stood.

Notes: No sign of struggle, victim in underwear facing outer doorway from inside hotel room when struck from behind.
Entry / exits, two possible areas; from outside the room's window, which was unlocked but closed or the door to the room which could possibly have been unlocked from outside.
No signs of forced entry.

Just basic ablutions in the room, suggesting the victim’s clothes and effects have been taken.

No guests or staff heard or saw anything, however the receptionist reported feeling light headed and falling asleep around the time of the death. Possible Psi / Sleep / Gas? no residue found.

Recommendations: Possibly a professional attack, no known suspects at present time, recommend putting this on hold unless further information presents itself.

A general report from the radio in Marconeville, Port Oakes, mentioned a number of villain groups were prepping for a meet up at some point this weekend in a secret location in Port Oaks in order to bid for an “item of unique value”. Whether this will be a civil affair or, more become a battle between old enemies is yet to be seen.

Shipping workers at Talos Island spotted someone reportedly matching the description of Mike Chivers offering to pay in cash for a trip to Port Oaks.

Reality TV boss attacked by crazed hero

On Saturday evening Melissa Thorn-Bridge, producer of the hit reality TV show Rising Stars was assaulted by known super power Roselin Thorne.

Stunned Melissa reviled, “I was going about my business and Roselin walked around me and I sensed she was trying to use some kind or pheromone power over me, I felt strangely myself drawn to her. Of course, being around people with powers all day you learn some basic resistance to this sort of thing and I had the moral code my parents instilled in me to fall back on and help guide me. Then the next thing I know this so called hero is lashing out at me with her fist then I’m on the ground with blood pouring out of my nose.”

When asked what happened next Melissa added, “I’m sorry to say I was rather stunned and very shaken, and I’m embarrassed to say I probably cried, I thought she was going to kill me!”

When asked if this was the end of her ordeal Melissa commented, “I wish, but this Roselin woman obviously had it in for me and proceeded to bind my hands so tightly that I lost any feeling in them and started to accuse me of blackmail, which, as anyone who knows me can attest to, is just crazy. Fortunately some proper heroes removed me from this crazy woman’s custody and released me.
“A very nice hero, I think she goes by the name Bodyshop, helped me up and fixed my broken nose. I’m very thankful for her amazing kindness and help.”

“It’s funny,” the plucky Melissa joked, “in my line of work, I always knew I may be in danger, but I always thought it would be from villains like Nemesis or something. This Roselin Thorne should spend more time arresting proper criminals such as the hellions who stalk our street rather than assaulting innocent citizens on trumped up charges.”

When asked if there would be any reprisals from the heroes in her television show Rising Stars Melissa commented. “I’m lucky to work with incredibly brave and honourable powered individuals, you just have to watch the show to see what a good example Fanservice girl is to her generation, or how Molly.exe really empowers young women by demonstrating how such a young and intelligent woman can run a business, invent incredible technology and still have time to keep the city streets safe. None of the heroes that I work with would follow such a petty vendetta when there are genuine threats out there, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

When asked if she would ever offer Roselin Thorne a position in Rising Stars, brave Melissa joked, “Now there’s a frightening thought, I don’t think I would want her gung ho brutality anywhere near me or the show.”

When questioned Hero corps representative George Stevens said “This is a shocking incident, such unprovoked attacks are certainly not the kind of thing Hero Corps will stands for.”

Roselin Thorne was unavailable for comment.

Rising Stars is broadcast at 8pm EST Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on KSPN.

I tend to chat IC when missioning (unless someone really objects (which can happen)) and usually players will play along even if they don't do it themselves, though I haven’t found anything broader than that.
