Ugh, my HEAD..!
Isn't that the point of an alarm?
I really should do something about this signature.

Don't go into the tutorial then, or turn your sound down. Have you ever heard of a prison break where there's NO alarm?

No, because in a good prison break the alarm never goes off and no-one ever works out how you got out and how you disappeared so completely.

Still a bit annoyed that the villian badge in breakout is a simple exploration badge whereas hero's have to fight for half an hour to get theirs.

Could we PLEASE get rid of that stupid 'dingaling dingaling dingaling' noise in the background in the beginning of the Villain tutorial? Please? Every single time I create a new Villain I end up with a painful headache from that horrible noise. Just the right pitch/frequency/whatever to be absolutely agonizing.

you should try one of the following:
1. adjust the volume on the speakers.
2. adjust the volume in the PC software.
or 3. apply hammer to PC in a fast circular move.
note to pt.3!!! you may have to apply the hammer several times before it works. but when the annoying sound disappears the problem is solved.

You could wait and do the Isolator Badge in the intro arc for ouroboros.
There you should have the advantage of several temp powers.

don't get your hopes up Cold, i am asking for about 9 months to remove or improve the villain mission complete sound and still nothing.
you complete a mission on the hero side and you get a small but nice sound, you complete a mission on the villain side and you get bastian bach bashing trough your speakers. >_<
Out of all the problems, think this is a relatively minor one.
Turn off the sound for the duration? And, in fact, its NOT for the duration, only inside the Zig itself. I.E not out in the yard. If it IS, your speakers need changing Col
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I'm with Col on this, that part of the sound is bordering on painful for me. I generally end up turning off the sound for the first few minutes on my villains as many of you have suggested. But I really think that this sound should be changed, I'm sure there are plenty of alarm sounds that are just as annoying, without being downright painful.
We got the sonic gfx change, this is not that dissimilar (but perhaps affects fewer players)

Command Bot 1 - Bot/Traps MM
the first of the list is IMO the best choice in this case

I find the security guards getting beat up highly offensive and demand nc to change every npc in the tutorial into pink fluffy bunnys hugging each other.
Now THAT would be offensive.

Mr. Deathbot 9000 here disagrees with you, would you like to take your point up against him or change your opinion.

Well then, how about a freaking siren or something that actually sounds like an alarm, not some kind of silly dingaling thing.
What's bizarre to me is how many people moan about the Sonic Attack sound effects (which seem completely fine to me) yet only one other person seems bothered by the pitch of the villain tutorial dingaling.
And don't tell me to skip the tutorial, I want the badge and the free level up; and Heroes don't have to put up with this [censored].
Ah well, guess I'm in the minority here then.

No. Instead, heroes have to put up with the brain meltingly tedious task of whacking mobs with their measly level 1 powers for an hour to get a badge.

Unfortunately they/we do. The dingaling (tm?) is sometimes present in police stations (and for some reason also outside safeguard missions)
