Well, it's the weekend before the holidays and I've finally got my very last bits of shopping done so I can now relax and say:

Happy Christmas/Solstice/Hanukkah/Season's Greetings* to all CoXers wherever you are.

I hope 2009 will be filled with Villains to "arrest", Heroes to defeat and as many evil schemes to disrupt or enable as your heart could desire.

All the best to the players, devs and NC community team.

May the white bearded fellow in his red robes bless whatever thing you intend to do during these days. So long as it doesn't involve beating me up Because I intend on succeeding with some heists so I can play Santa Closure myself.

That's the problem with thugs. They have families and guess what, families want presents and who are they expecting to coff up the inf to get those pressies? You got it. I could say bah humbug but then they will be unhappy employers who might get distracted next time I need em. So instead of a holiday I got to work. I am Scrooged.

Thanks to everyone (Mod’s old and new, Dev’s old and new, players and forum people) for giving me yet another year of fun and silly things to look at on the internet (and I’m not just talking about the ranty threads that get locked ).

I hope those of you celebrating this festive season have a great time but don’t eat that much you can’t reach your keyboards.

Remember it’s about the giving not the receiving. (My global is below so if you want to give I’ll graciously accept.)

The "spirit of Christmas" is to find something to feel good about, the time when those who are lucky enough to live fulfilled lives help cheer up those who aren't.

Merry Christmas to everyone. It's a good-well wish, not a freakin' statement of fact. It's the reason, despite not being religious in any sense, I always send the Salvation Army some Christmas cards, wishing people I have never met - who live on the street, or in hostels, or any other somber place - a very Merry Christmas. Not because I don't recognise the "true spirit of Christmas", in fact, precisely because I do recognise the true spirit of Christmas.

No one should be miserable at Christmas - whether they celebrate it or not, whether the rest of the year has been good to them or not. Of course, that won't happen - and GG and I are obviously much too naive and incomprehensibly rude for hoping everyone can be happy at this time of year.

By the way, this was Stasis - so take any anger out on me, not on Fire Guardian.

And a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Hanukkah to everyone.
