Considering that the loader has had the message up saying that the winter event is live all day there's not really any excuse for not knowing irrespective of when it was stated on the forums

Need to vent....
Cannot get past 56 seconds - it's my time, every SINGLE shot I've had on that bloody Expert course, even with multiple SB's, IR's and AM's that's my best time (in fact the more I get the harder it is).
Also, that stupid pause you get going through the teleporter in the middle of the course? Who's idea was that?
How someone managed to get 41 seconds I'll never know.

I like the event except for the ski-ing
I was not able to get even the bronze medals last year so I am not retrying to do them this year. Although it is fun to ski. It is not fun to know that i will never ever can get my hands on these fine badges!

Uh huh, but you say it is fun to ski, but you like the winter event EXCEPT the skiing? Just confuses me.
Btw, new slope is pretty hard, you cant get there fast enough without SS so you get SS and then you fall off and get a ridiculous time lol 
Well I think Audiosurf has paid off cause the normal slopes were nice and easy this year and first time was 51 on the new slope. Whether I can actually better that I dont know as wont be on again for a bit
Edit: yep gold on 3rd try. Either its much easier this year or I've spent far too much time on Audisurf. And as some dethroned my Hail Ceaser I need to get back to it

Right, just managed to get it. 2 Speed Boosts, sprint and Combat Jumping made it very easy. (47 seconds).
Think I'm going to make sure that my second builds have six slotted sprint, combat jumping and anything else which will increase my speed, just for this event.
