acording to one of the magazine articles, castle has been making costumes to go with day jobs: buisiness suits and police uniforms are mentioned. Wether these will be unlocked by the day job badge or available form the start isn't mentioned.
As for unlockable weapons, Shields count as weapons, and some of those are bound to be unlockable.
I really should do something about this signature.
I hoped / assumed that day jobs came with costumes, so that's nice.
As for shields - I understand the they were the cause of the weapon customisation feature being made available, so obviously I'm expecting some shield options, and hopefully some unlockable ones.
Think we'll see any more invention costume pieces in the future?

This would be awesome for those seeking a true 'secret identity' but it might also cause a bit of 'slot crunch' in that people may not be willing to give up one of their five slots for a civillian identity costume.

I have four primary costumes, and the fifth slot is for 'events'. An Xmas outfit, a Halloween outfit. However, since Cimerora and the Cyborg pack, I want more slots for other suits!

If they got Policemen uniforms then surely they have Firefighter Uniforms?

I think I've figured out Jay's MasterPlanĀ here...
We have Biker uniforms, Police Uniforms are incoming Issue 13, expect Firefighter and Indian Chieftain uniforms Issue 14 along with a Y.M.C.A emote as part of the 'Blue Oyster booster packĀ'.
People would be happy... they'd need to add a cowboy set...

So, COSTUMES AND COSTUME PIECES - I13 brings with it:
"Other features include new Invention Origin Sets, new Costume Sets, Zone Refinements, and more!"
I wonder if Dayjobs, and also Merits, will be used to acquire new costume pieces?
The above quote, says that there will be new invention sets, and new costume sets. By this, I am merely assuming, they mean that new themed costume pieces will be available (Jester, Plant, Cyborg, etc). Certainly, it would be good if these other new features awarded costume pieces (something else in inspire people to seek out this fantastic conent, other than / as well as badges!) for completing / unlocking them?
However - what I was curious about was the expansion of the already established system(s). Each issue, we see new costume pieces come out (which I am extemely grateful for!) However, when the invention issue was released, we saw a selection of costume piece recipes being made available. When the weapon customisation issue was released, we saw a basic set of weapons, and then some weapons that you could 'earn'/unlock. I hope that the devs don't forget that they have established a good few ways in which to hand out costume pieces to those that earn them, rather than just handing them out at the release of an issue (although I'm NOT saying that everything should be unlockable content - just that a few items should be).
This post is not say "I13 is naff because they haven't said anything about using the invention system or weapon customisation system to released more unlockable content."
I am simply saying that I hope, in the future, to see more costume recipes and more unlockable weapon styles, and I look forward to what I13 is bringing with it.
