No, because in EVE your whole basis of learning skills is that you can learn one at a time, and it'll learn whether you're online, offline or even if your account isn't subbed. In CoH and WoW, it's more a little bonus for if you're offline for a bit at work, school, sleeping, whatever.

As with the non-combat pets, I think some of my characters will really suit the job titles, whereas others will not be bothered at all.
(When I first saw the pets I wasn't that fussed, but by the time I got them I found both the my female toons wanted the cute little mechs (Milly (Sonic) has one called Mr D (named after Dobbie the House Elf), and Miss Atom called hers Izzy).)

...I like. But what I'm really betting on/hoping for is that Story Arcs - maybe even regular missions too - will grant tokens, just fewer of them.
So rather than having to commit X hours straight as a piece to a team for a shot at a rare recipe, i can just gradually save up enough tokens over the time I do have.

Wonder if / when anything new for i13 will be announced? Turning out to be a long and rather boring wait so far after being promised so much awesomeness by the new expanded Dev team, I'm starting to wonder did they expand too fast and are now being slowed by trying to integrate the new people in?

they will tell us more in time, they did first say tht, so what has been relased alrdy is only a little bit/half of i13 and more is to be told soon. alot ppl think what they have told us is everything, when its not

I know that, they said that about 3 weeks ago and nada since.
Get a move on NCNC. These boards have been rather dead for a while now, we need something (other than "Hey hey, we're firing half the EU team!") to liven them up a bit.
There's also quite a few other, non-i13 things which still haven't materialized, notably the new boards and the other web features whose Option settings have in ingame for over 6 months for no reason now.
Really the web development team needs to get the finger out too.

Here here. Completely agree. Not in an evil 'oh for god's sake' way, but in a 'some kind of revelation would be nice, in regards to non-issue stuff.

It does seem like a longer wait than normal, my hope is it means theres lots more to come
Hope tends to be all we have to go on, these days.
Don't get me wrong - the cyborg pack was a nice touch, and yes, I13 is coming - but there's sometimes more to an MMO than the game itself (and the forum, of course)

The option settings have been in game IIRC since i3.
Going by a post Positron wrote 6 days ago it looks like Issue 13 has hit some bumps in the road and it's taking them a bit longer as expected to release some more info.

It does make me chuckle (and this isnt aimed at anyone as Im just as bad) that we spend months saying we needed to be told something about the new issue and then when we get told something we say its not enough information and only weeks later were saying we need to know more.
Maybe we should not have been told anything in the first place and left to stew in our own speculation.
Could the recent mass amounts of reviews/interviews be part of the net advertising we'v heard we'r going to get?
