So I use the self destruct power and avoid the debt....
I know debt isn't much these days but that seems wrong
Did you watch the video? You could make a cup of tea and walk an entire herd of kittens before that power activates.
If you are killed during the cast time, methinks you still will get debt...

if your going to die quickly, there is no point activating self-destruct.
Watch a few of the videos and it actually comes with its own 10 second count down before it goes off.
Now if Unstoppable is going to crash soon, you're all out of insps and your team is all defeated, then yeah I'd activate self-destruct as the last middle finger to the mobs saving myself from debt and taking the rest of them with me.

Yes. My robots could do with blinding themselves by projecting light out of the bits of their bodies where light is meant to go IN.
My Grav/TA cyborg has a laser-sight on his bow, like a sane person 
The Heads Up Display aura looks great, I can see that being used for my AR/Dev Blaster's armour.
The chest detail pieces could be useful but they don't bring anything new that the Enforcer and Vanguard pieces haven't already.
The shoulder pieces are ok and might be useful but again they're nothing to write home about.
The head pieces are little more that bulky versions of the "Tech:Bot" head texture.
I don't like the arm or leg pieces at all.
So overall,
Auras: Wooh!
The rest: Meh
Dunno if I'll bother buying it, I'm rather disappointed really. Is one cool aura piece really worth £6?

So tempted to roll a character with a Predator concept. So I can activate Self Destruct and go BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA ominously as the hero runs away from me in slow motion before the movie ends.
Sadly this costume pack does not seem to provide fleshy dreadlocks.

Hmmm. I've just realised the Power this pack gives is a great way to exploit / leverage Rise of the Phoenix, Fallout & Vengence easily and without debt.
Great for those difficult AV fights, get someone to self-destruct for decent damage, then use the debt-free corpse to buff/debuff off of.
I'd almost be tempted to take Fallout on my Fire/Rad in antipication of lots of "ammunation" being easily available. I can always Mutate them back to life (and buffed too boot) afterwards.
The costume parts seem to be the weakest part of the package. Jay would have appeared to have been aiming for an "external muscules" look, but to have run foul of the maximum number of polygons, and had to make the muscules rectangular in cross section. I like the wheel joints and the shoulder pieces though, so I will probably use some parts.
The aura and power look excellent though.

The video didn't show much of a body left... There might not be anything targettable to prevent just that. I can't believe that the devs would overlook such an obvious exploit.

Does self-destruct even leave a corpse?
Self Destuct doesn't leave a targetable body, so you can't use Fallout or Vengence from it. RotP should work though.
I intend to use it on my PB. 10 seconds left on Light Form? Activate Self Destruct. Then I have a handy self rez.

Really hoping we aren't going to be running to an American schedule, 12pm for them is what 8/9pm for us?
Plus the PlayNC website is going to be down from 3pmish for maintenance.
Edit: Ally Rez/Fallout/Vengeance apparently wont work after you've Self destructed (the corpse isn't targetable since there's nothing left) however you can still use awakens and self Rez powers so Rise of the Phoenix and other such powers will work.
Would find the exact quote about this on the US forums but can't be bothered to trawl through all 35 pages of it.

Part of me has this sinking feeling that it wont happen until tomorrow at the latest since GR mentioned that the US are one patch ahead of us since our version of said patch has only just gone into the training room.
I imagine that this patch also contains various bug fixes to the Cyborg set...
Well hopefully that wont be the case otherwise I'd be seriously peeved.
Otherwise I think they're going for simultaneous EU/US release which makes sense but does peeve me off slightly.
Just odd that we've had no mention of it just yet.
