I think his point is (not explicit to you, but if you're asking... ) :
Sympathize with NCsoft EU people leaving losing their jobs because it was your choice to join with them in the first place.
Those who believe that it was better without them, why they are trolling among us?
Now it's a bad timing to suddenly switch views.
This started with one particularly poorly phrased comment in an otherwise supportive thread - can we all let it drop now?
Hopefully all the followup mess is threaded off that one post, and GR can (and will) easily snip it out on Monday...
(Assuming that will happen, go back to a post pre-fuss and reply to that if you want to make a new post that will escape the Great Cleansing tomorrow!)

It seems I haven't been loud enough recently. However I would like to point out that CoX has had a lot of weirdness where the servers are concerned, I've been in arguments whether the servers are English or english speaking, which is quite ridiculous since I've never faced this kind of discrimination in other online communities. The fact that the boards are named uk.board.cityofX.com does not help a lot either.
Anyway, sorry for going on an off topic rant, ignore me.

People react diffrently to shocking news and the 'just don't know what to say' effect, Some say as little as possible and leave it, some say as much as they feel is relevant and some people just say anything to get rid of the icky feeling of not having anything to say, which can lead to some somewhat leftfield comments (much like this one) sure no one is really trying to derail the thread or air there personal bugbears, We all just react in diffrent ways to upsetting news.

there is a very real similarity here between me discussing at work why someone is being made redundant, even before it happens, while that very person is in the room and this discussion.
is there no one here that appreciates that these people may not enjoy you speculating the whys and wherefores of their unfortunate (to say the least) predicament, right in front of their noses?

Yes though it would be great to buy the fellas a round, looks like the expense plus travelling involved is going to rule me out.
Still a few things running through my head I might look into. But being such a large and for the most part vacous space I'm still not sure i'll be able to pin them down and implement them in time, I'll have a quick word in GR's shelllike when he's in or at least when I've formulated them better to be more presentable

Having been on the receiving end and losing a job I adored... sadly due to my own incompetence and not entirely like this situation, I have every sympathy with those either who have lost their jobs or have yet to here... something I had hope I had made clear much earlier in the thread.
My comment was actually intended to defuse an incipient argument that was about how something had been said more than what was said. Obviously I failed... again. :'(
