Can I upgrade to collectors edition?

I, as a CoV and NC lover, want to buy the collectors edition of CoV.

This wouldnt hurt much since I bought CoV digitally, I have no CD that could decor my collection of games.


But there are one thing that hinder me from order it and thats if I can upgrade my existing account with the collectors edition to get the in-game stuff.

Can I or can I not add the ingame content to my existing account?

I would appreciate an answer so I can decide.

Yes you can. All you'll get from it though is a month's playtime and the Arachnos chest/cape logo.

If you've already got the Logo's Vet reward, all you'll get is the cape logo.

I'm pretty sure you can - I've done this inadvertently myself. I orginally had the CoH DVD edition, then purchased the CoV DVD edition. I susbsequently lost both disks, so went out and bought the combined (collecters) edition.

I appear to have access to all the 'bonus' content from all 3 editions.

However, I'm not sure if that's an indication of how things work, but I'm sure one of the others around here will be able to confirm

Nice i saw the coh deluxe edition earlier today pretty cheap today so i will get it.

heh, only a pity the payment system isn't the same in merchandise as in digital, now i can't use the paysavecard to buy the CE of COV.

They used to be the same.
But they changed the Veteran Reward one into something more sleek.

Actually, if you ever can get your hand on the CoH Deluxe even then they can upgrade your account, but it was a bit tricky. Tricky but possible I ended up passing on my serial/proof of purchase to support and they on their turn upgraded my account (which of course already had a copy of gve - was for my second account. Wut?).

Yup I did indeed. I bought the deluxe afterwards because I wanted to have access to the same stuff on both accounts - excluding veteran rewards.

Yup, you need to ticket this with a request that they upgrade your account. Explain that you have the Deluxe edition and that it has to be added to your current account - since you cannot do this yourself. Then they will guide you through the steps necessary. That's how they did it with me.

You won't see it in your account details, but once you log on you'll find the items have been added.

Uhm no, if you buy City of Villains Collector's Edition you get the Arachnos symbol, which can be attached to both capes and chest. That is, if we're only talking about the in-game items.
