Regular Ice & Storm Theme Team
Don't forget there are the RWZ arcs as well
Actually we're going to hold off on the RWZ for a while, since it's impossible to outlevel them. I know some folks are pretty tired of RWZ overexposure anyway.
Yet we need the Vanguard badge if we want to start earning merits from missions regarding Rikti that may be presented to us before we decide to do RWZ story arcs!
Aha! Good point.
I guess we could run through the first RWZ arc, since it doesn't take long at all.
Sorry guys but I won't be able to join you this week .
Have a great time this week and I will be back next week.
@Moondog
Union:
CoH: Moondog (WS); V-Rock (Tnk, semi-retired); Pole-Star (Bla); Demon Dog (Scr).
CoV: Midnight Gunner (Corr); Operative John Doe (Ban); Day-Star (Dom); Commissar Jaeger (MM).
Sorry to hear that M-Dog
I won't be able to stay for long tonight either - just an hour for playtime then I must get back to doing some work. I will be there at the start however.
Rather a quiet evening, by Cold Front standards, except for my team...
Started with only 2 teams, ended with just one.
My lot are all about 37ish. Apart from Majikman, who I think hit 35.
Aerial's 38.14 and Abyssal's 38 and a bit, and Aerial now has Zappy McCloud, of the clan McCloud to add to her assortment of pets to litter the environment with.
Many MANY Paragon Protectors were smacked tonight. Enough to go from zero to Infiltrator in one evening. The PP's really really didn't like the amount of debuff being thrown around....
Doctor's Ally badge and a good chunk of Gordon Stacey's arc knocked out of the way.
Oh, and my team did a Brickstown Safeguard, too.
Aerial's got the CBX-9 pistol, too
This Sunday's TF is Manticore. 7pm(ish) start, in Brickstown, near the guy with the spiky head.
Even reading this to myself, this looks a little garbled... Tired. Need bed. Gnight all.
:edit:
Forgot. We Smacked Jurassik right in the Boulders, too

Yeah it was quiet, but I'm guessing that was the bank holiday weekend that did it.
I wasn't there the whole night, but by the time I left our team was all between 34-37.
We were breezing through lvl 37/8 enemies and I was very disappointed I had to leave so soon.
Canine and I had a chat about our timing. Since we tend to wait for a lot of people to show up before we start, we often don't get cracking until 7:30.
Next week, in the interest of getting right down to business we're going to try something different.
We'll forgo the usual meeting spot and start the fight against evil soon after 7pm. That means when you show up, announce your presence in the Cold Front channel and one of us will fling you an invite right away.
I'm in for hurricane tanking the countess

As an expansion to that, I was thinking that we start with a fixed meeting point, since that's worked well up until now.
Then at 7pm sharp (or maybe 7:10, whatever seems like a good idea at the time), we divide up the prompt attendees into one or two teams, as numbers dictate, and start rolling.
And then we do the invite as people log in thing.
This is nothing more than the typed equivalent of talking out loud to yourself, so please don't take this as gospel, but it may work more smoothly as a halfway house between the old system and the more 'harsh' new system being considered.
<shrug>
Just a thought.

Yeah that's fine for me too.
So where shall we meet next week?
Some thoughts and you decide where to start:
Midnighter's unfinished
Vanguard not started yet
ITF waiting for us...
I T F! I T F! I T F!
Re: Midighter, I plan on doing the Lost hunt (sorry, CURE) before next week, as it's a no xp distraction.
ITF will wait until everyone's 35+, naturally. But I do want to do that sooner rather than later - I want those cossie bits! How about another TF race betwen the teams?
Oh and likewise, the RWZ intro arc will wait until everyone's 35 or higher.
Oh yeah, how high did you guys (specifically, those in my team) get to by the end of Monday night?

[/ QUOTE ] Tell me when to join you.
Sure. It'll probably be at the weekend at some point.
I won't be able to make it on Monday unfortunately - have lots of fun without me!
I'll blast around and take aggro for you, don't worry
Thanks!
But I want it back the week after
We will see...
No promises though.
Just a reminder.
Manticore's on the cards for Sunday evening.
7pm start. (plus or minus waiting for Abyssal :P )
Oh, and Echo, as regarding a gathering point for Monday evening, Why not the Top of 'Rikti hill' in Talos for this week? It's pretty central for zone travel purposes, and easy enough to find.
('Rikti hill' being the Hill just north of Luminary/Citadel/the train station, where the mass Rikti bashing during an invasion in Talos usually takes place, for the sake of clarity)

Sounds good to me man.
Hello all,
I've been interested in rolling a Ice based controller and was wondering if this would fit into your team?
Mind you, what level are you all at now? Am I too late in joining this party?
All info greatly appreciated
Most are in the high 30's now.
How do I like my MMOs? I like them the way Paragon Studios used to make them. - a fitting tribute from kiasa.org
EU, Union mostly.
Hey please calm down TRT, that's not what we're saying. I'm certainly thankful of the information as I had no idea the arc behaved like that (last night was the first time I bothered with the Origin of Powers arc, since it's not needed for Midnighter access).
Personally I'm curious if it's a special 100% chance or a fluke of the 10% chance for Pool B recipe drops. There's no special mention on Paragonwiki about it. Definitely bears further investigation.

On another note, tomorrow we'll meet up in the courtyard of Steel Canyon university.
Those teams still pursuing the Montague Castanella arc will do so, but after that we'll all be working on regular story arcs for the next 2-3 weeks (since we're getting into the fun arcs now) and catch up on the current/next safeguard if needed.
In mid September we'll have a go at the Imperious TF, which I'm looking forward to.
