Thanks to the team to tonight for helping me over the line to 50
And of course to the many Cold Front team mates over the last 30 weeks (wow did we really start in the summer?!?)
Have a great Christmas and see you all in 2009! -
Thanks!
But I want it back the week after -
I won't be able to make it on Monday unfortunately - have lots of fun without me!
-
Yes - 1:12 for us.
Maybe not the fastest but still a lot of fun... -
"Team 3" marched through Buck's arc.
The henge was never in danger with the constant barrage of rain, sleet, snow, ice, blizzard, vines, confusion and a pet Flay Trap! At one point we almost felt sorry for the pesky little critters
After a spot of CoT bashing in Talos we all ended up in the 32-34 range I think.
An inter-team race through the Hannon TF sounds like fun next week... -
Another entertaining night on Monday, although I think I have seen enough pumpkins to last me a while!
I'll not be there for the fun next week so see you in two weeks... -
It was indeed a cunning plan.
My PC crashed just before the plan was created and put into action. When I got back into the game and the mission I thought I had sync problems as although you were on the map I could not see you. Then 2 dead mobs landed on my head!
It was a lot of fun up there on the ledge, especially running round like a fool with my hurricane on... -
Hey Knightly,
Count me in again please for STF... -
Hey Damz,
It's saddening and annoying that you got all of that abusive stuff. At times some people forget why real life is called REAL life and I hope yours takes an upward turn soon.
I was one of those that turned up for the race and even though it ended up being a "non-event" I did enjoy the build up to the race and the race itself was very entertaining.
So thanks for sticking your head above the parapet to set it up even if it did not turn out how you wanted it to. If more people did this sort of thing more often then we would all have even more fun playing this game.
Cheers,

It was indeed a lot of fun - even the repeated attempts on LR were enjoyable (in a bizarre sort of way!) Playing with all of my ill/storm chaos toys is always entertaining
I'm up for us to try it again. This time we would take GW out even quicker and of course LR himself would be the icing on our cake! -

Sure that all the competitors hope that everything's fine with Damz... and that they were only kept away by dodgy technology issues.

Agreed. -
A quick recap of what happened tonight...
A number of us turned up for the race at 6PM (UK Time) in Skyway (as advertised in the OP). There was no sign of 1Damz so we hung around until 7 PM. By then .Magma Man had arrived but there was still no contact with 1Damz so rather than waste the fact that we turned up we decided to race anyway, using an honesty policy and .Magma Man as the official starter, running from the north of the zone to the Green Line T.
The result of the race was:
1st DB-48124 (@Judgement Dave)
2nd 119 (@MiG)
3rd death runner (@amasing flame)
We can only assume that there was some problem for 1Damz but are also assuming that the result will stand... -
Heracles went down in literally 6 seconds when we found him too - what a wimp!
And someone should tell those researchers to keep off that darn boat - how many times did we rescue them?!?
A fun night though still as always... -
Yes the battle on the subs was a very fine encounter especially as I was standing on the last one when it went up in smoke (and then I sank).
And I am guilty as charged about attracting a tad too much aggro at times. All those icy shields make me feel non-squishy and then the required O2 boosts remind me I'm not!
The team buffers have been great though. It almost feels like I have an extra set of inherent powers -
It's a shame about your DC as it was another thoroughly entertaining evening.
-
Most of our team are around level 22 I think and tonight, like Orville, I'm hoping to be able to fly, right up to the sky!
Weather permitting of course... -
Now that bit of the sewers was especially entertaining!
-
Another excellent night!
Another rocking and fun team!
(and of course Hurrah for Stamina) -
I'm glad they judged the costumes last week then ;^)
See you all later... -
So about last night...
It started off marvellously when I won the costume competition (thanks _Echo_)!
It got better as we marched imperiously through the sewers dispatching everything before us with our combined frozen might.
And when we started wading through missions we became unstoppable!
Thanks for the great team and to Captain Snowspeed for leading it. It sure was a lot of fun!
Looking forward to next week already... -
Sorry to mess up your roster Echo, but I've changed the name of my Ice/Elec blaster from Frozen Circuits to Blap Zap.
See you Monday... -
Count me in too please with Frozen Circuits, my Ice/Elec blaster.
