I should be there for the STF.. Only snag is I'm house/catsitting so I have to call in at my mum's.. I'll be back ASAP (hopefully before 7), but if you need to start feel free to

Posted

I'll be around tonight, maybe I'll steal a free spot on the STF if there is one.

Otherwise, I'll captain Team Awesome and we'll be bullying Tyrant and then, maybe some RWZ or Cimerora stuff.

Still having network issues, so it looks like I won't make it tonight.

Took us just shy of 3 hours for the STF.

We missed out on the MoSTF by one faceplant, in the damn tree room. The tree, and GW/Scirocco are the two biggest stumbling blocks in MoSTF attempts in my experience.

Ah well, it was a good run, all told. And Abyssal managed (more or less) to survive Recluse, thanks to the attentions of Doc Green guest starring as 'Tanker Life Support'

This Sunday, will be an attempt on MoSTF. CF toons not essential, but two toons so far are fixed. I'll be tanking on Tufa, and Lifeline will be badgewhoring on Corten.

Other than that, buffs/debuffs/damage/control all welcome

(PS, the tree faceplant was 95% lag and 5% bad luck, and NOT Abyssal, either :P The lag in the Tree room was intensely annoying and, as it turned out, lethal.)

It looks like I might be 15-20 minutes late tonight, apologies for that. I will show up and join the second team at some point.

I'm not sure whether I'll be there tonight or not, since my lower spine is still screaming at me.

I eventually made it on at 22:20, but it was more symbolic than anything else, since by the look of various friends lists everyone was long gone.

I've not missed a Monday yet, technically. (but that may be stretching things a little...)

Updated the GMOTD with a meeting point for next week,

Hope those that made it had a decent evening.

We had a good time. I was a bit late msyelf but fortunately Pirahna and Abyssal were looking after everyone by the time I got there.

First, we went via Ouroboros for the Spelunker badge. Then we finally finished my Hero's Hero arc by deposing a Tyrant. Then we completed my other long overdue arc - Crimson's World Wide Red - culminating with the dismantling of the Kronos Titan 2.0.

There was only one team worth of people this week, so it was quite quiet but still good fun.

The Cimerora arcs may be in order next week, or maybe RWZ (arcs).

My regular mob have done all the Cimerora arcs, so I was contemplating seeing how much of the RWZ stuff we could get done in one evening.

Guess what we did tonight?

And bloody stressful it was, too. (says the lump of stone that was trying to make sure everything was annoyed at it, not the rest of the team)

Saved by the one shot code more than a couple of times

Thanks to the rest of the idiots who attended for the assistance.

See you lot tomorrow night.

We were, as I believe the phrase goes, teh Awesome.

Scary every time someone plummeted to 1 hp, Teamspeak was full of screams to whoever took the hit. It would have been bad enough seeing your life drop without 5 or 6 people shouting "CORTEN!!", for example.

Halfway through, and I was wishing someone would die, so I could relax.

Very well done guys!

See you all tonight.

There was indeed a few pant moistening moments especially when all that was left was Recluse and he hits throught elude to put you at 1 hp. Argh that was panic.

Since last anyone posted here, the Cold Front Sunday TF run has managed a Posi (which I missed due to logging on at 7.10pm) and a Sewer Trial/TF with 4 mins to spare.

Well done on the Sewer Trial!

I'll be around tonight from 7pm-ish for more RWZ. See you then.

Congrats to all our regulars, since we're all level 50 now.

That means our chief objective is done, and now it's time to think about how we should go out with a bang.

Personally I was planning on having a team-only RWZ Raid as our grand finale. for this some Shivans will come in handy to maximise our survivability and reward in the final phase, so a strip to Bloody Bay is on the cards soon too.

It was also suggested we could go to RV and take out the suped-up AVs there.

There's also the prospect of a Hami Raid, but I think that's slightly beyond the grasp of 14 of even the bestest heroes.

So it's up to you guys really - what do you want to try first?

RWZ!

Hmmm, ok then.

Thanks to all those who showed last night.

Next week:

RWZ Raid, starting at 8pm. Those who were on time this week have already picked up the Shivan temp power in preparation for this. If you don't have it already, I recommend bagging it in time for next week.

The start is at 8pm as the raid shouldn't take all that long and I don't want those who just can't make the normal 7pm start time to miss out.

Myself (and Li, no doubt) will be online for 7pm-ish as usual anyway. We'll still be running other missions etc before the raid.

Hopefully see you there!

Raid tonight!!

Yes it was! A successful RWZ Raid with just 13 heroes.

I'm very, very proud of this team right now. Seriously well done to all!

I took a couple of photos at the end: 1 2

Canine tried a demo record, if it worked out then he'll post it, plus more photos.

Next week, we'll have a 'wind-down' session with some AVs in Recluse's Victory. Meet at 7pm as usual, RV from 8pm.

I only thought to start the demorecord once U'Kon hit about 75% health, so he's only in there for about 30 secs. He dropped like a sack of spuds.

There's a link to a zip of the demorecord Here, but it'll only work for the first 10 people downloading it. If anyone has a better suggestion for somewhere to put it, I'm open to suggestions.

The Demorecord is LOUD to start off and doesn't really get much quieter. This is because the demo playback doesn't use any in game settimgs you may have used, and I have the game turned down on my machine and the global volume turned up to make TS clearer Also, the demorecord is missing all the random gibberish spouted on TS, for which you should be thankful

Extremely well done to all involved.

The Intrepid Fools.

The least laggy Ship raid I've been on yet
