Anyway, back on the subject of far more important things.
We whipped through the Cavern of Transformers like it wasn't even there. It was so quick that we didn't get a group photo, about half an hour all told.
Then we were stood around wondering what to do next. So we decided to try a second run on different alts. That was when Tolledo crashed.
So we decided to try a positron as quick as we could.
And we're still on it until next Sunday. Just got the 4 final defeat all missions to do, with a team of one tank, 2 defenders (1 kinetics, 1 Empathy), 2 Peacebringers, 1 Warshade and Piranha Coldshot representing Cold Front.
We'd probably have been done in one evening if we hadn't started at about 20 past 8; but we were waiting to see if Tolledo was going to reconnect or not, and sadly it appeared not.
Anyway, Doc T has another Cold Front compliant alt to bring along tomorrow night, so I'll see you lot then.

I'm stuck at work again!! Really sorry I'm missing it again but there's nothing I can do (my company has just been sold and the proverbial is all over the fan right now).
And tonight was, I think, a first.
Only one team, for the entire evening.
Various Carnies, Malta and suchlike decimated. Occasional partial team decimation.
And Barsin's sucked all the drop luck out of the team with last week's little trick. I got zero named recipes last night, not even a snipe; and bog all salvage, either.
Ah well, not a bad evening all told, though. The Illusionist badge tracker is ticking along quite nicely.
This Sunday is a continuation of last Sunday's Positron, so unfortunately, no new TF starting. Sorry, Tolledo.

There's no need to apologise.
a) It's only a game.
b) Cold Front is absolutely nowhere near being a compulsory part of said game.
c) As an MMO, people come and go constantly. It something you just have to deal with.
d) There's absolutely no sense at all in making yourself ill for the sake of a game.
Come back once the migraines pass, there'll still be a team going for the forseeable future on a Monday night so far as I'm concerned.
But if you've been having Migraines for a couple of weeks, then assuming you haven't already, may I suggest a visit to your doctor?

I've been to the doctors off and on over the past 15 years.. not much they can do.. tried some tablets and things but they don't really help.. I'm going back again on Monday though..
and yes, I know it's not compulsory, just didn't want anyone thinking i'd hit 50 and run or anything

I'd personally prefer not, because that would be getting dangerously close to triggering my mildly rabid anti-PL stance, especially if the toon isn't even up to SO's.
The people who've been getting SK'd recently I've not had problems with because they were CF toons. Frozen Lard, for example was built for Cold Front, even though he's only been an irregular attendee.
Besides, I once made the mistake of being SK'd up to some friends on my Ice/Ice tanker when I was on DO's. I've never felt so useless on a team. I didn't have all my survival tools, I was squishy as hell, and all in all I felt like a useless leech.
However, I'm moderately open to being converted/convinced by a sensible argument.
Anyway, on to other things. Good luck getting your migraines sorted, Weiss.

One of the things Canine and I share is our distaste for the extremes of PLing, especially for those ATs that will make or break a team - though I don't get as rabid as Canine does!

Congrats Tolledo on hitting 50 last night.
My lot (eventually) went through Daedalus' first arc, once we'd got Snowjoke and Mirage access to Cimerora.
Quite a nice arc.
Sunday was maybe going to be starting Dr. Q, but thinking about it, leaving th that for the new year would make sense.
When we do go for Dr. Q, it'll be a Sunday, Monday and possibly following Sunday job. Hence leaving it until after the new year, as the 21st of December as a potential TF completion date is too close to Christmas, so people may be away from PC's visiting family etc.

Our righteuos little mini-team spent the evening working through Crimson, with a side dish of Maria Jenkins.
I had a blast with my new alt-build, Quicksand and Stalagmites are so much fun for a Tanker!
We finished about 30-40% throgh Crimson's Project: World Wide Red arc. If we progress as quickly next week, we may have the Kronos Titan for the team to play with by the end of the night.

Ah well, we got shiny things from Mutant Dwarf missions, and ended up pummeling about 4 Winter Lord GM's in Talos once we were bored of that.

Last Sunday's Lady Grey was... strangely easy. Possibly due to semi-obscene amounts of debuff on the team.

And then gave up after the first mission due to multiple Mapserver Disconnects which, while they weren't kicking us out of the game, were bad enough to ruin any enjoyment.
