Sorry Can't make it tonight. Have fun all and I'll see you all next Sunday or Monday.
Progress report.
My lot are two mission off finishing Buck Salinger.
We'd probably be done, except for the break to bash Rikti, which happened when we were 3.4 of the way through the rescue hostages mission, and by the time we got back, it had reset.
Got the Talos Safeguard done, too. And got Bomb Specialist and 'Smash 100 invading Rikti' badges. Just need Heavies now for the accolade.
As far as level goes, Aerial's 33.77ish. Don't know about the other teams, but I think most of my team got to 32 at the very least.
I'm going to pick up another Talos SG for next Monday, so if you missed out on either the temp or badge from it this week, there'll be another chance.
This Sunday, a TF or trial. Possibly Respec 1, if not, it'll be Moonfire.

Team 3/2 averaged level 32 I think, and mostly completed Buck's Arc and Thus Croatoa
Those rikti invasions slowed us down last night.
There good for the badge (which i got ) but not amazing xp. Plus for us stormers we kept lagging the group.
Yes it was my fault we were major lagging with my creeper vine attack, it dosen't help that my char only has AoE attacks apart from the temp rune we got 2 weeks ago for Croatoa

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Freezing Rain/Spectral Terror/Steamy Mist/Phantasm (and friend)/Phantom Army/Flash/Thunderclap won't have been helping the situation much from Aerial, and the lag was much reduced in Galaxy anyway.
I'm going to take Aerial out Heavy Hunting with a debt cap on before the event ends, personally. Mainly because I get the Heavies and that's the accolade.

By the way, for those wondering about the rules for Rikti invasions, and how and when Heavy Assault Suits 'port in, there's a post from the Dark Watcher here that explains a lot.

Cheers canine, that explains a lot and puts some of those rumours to bed once and for all.
Hurrah, Watchwoman.
Unfortunately, the invasion in Talos I got the Heavies from was a big 'un. So I'm now about 650xp from level 34. And that was after going into the invasions debtcapped...

Badgrats!
Last night was a lot of fun. The combined Team 3/Team Alpha DAWG WOOF managed to finish off Croatoa altogether, and were sitting more or less 30-33 at the end of the night.
What's on the cards for next week, once Croatoa is finished? Midnighter Club or Ouroborous intiation perhaps?
I hate redcaps > . I was pretty tired yesterday sorry if i seemed off. See you guys in 2 weeks, working next monday.
Have we already missed the Freaklympics? I've only ever done that arc once and found it a lot of fun.

Yes, we missed them. It's 25-30.
Still, I may be persuaded to run a Flashback version at some point, if there's enough interest...
Unfortunately, due to doing zone arcs, we've missed a lot of what I consider is the charm on CoH, which is the 'story' arcs, where you pick up a lot of the history and background to the various groups in Paragon, like the Warriors, Tsoo, Clockwork, etc.
Next Blueside toon I take through, I'm ignoring Faultline, Striga, Croatoa, Midnighters and the RWZ entirely. I personally *like* the old arcs. Yes, they're long, and the writing is a little ropey in places, but a) it's what I played when I started 41 months ago, so there's some minor nostalgia, and b) their length, especially in the late game makes it feel like you *are* actually investigating and picking up the pieces of the puzzle as you go, unlike CoV and later arcs, which are shorter, but you're being told explicitly what to do, and to me feel like you're acting as a drone.

Gimme a chance.
I wasn't in the mood last night to do much of anything on the forums after the power lag that's been ticking me off all weekend.
Guess what we did last night?

I'm fine with whatever tf. Even posi although i hear cimemora is sunny this time of the year.
I'm 35.
Abyssal's 35.
I wasn't sentient enough by the end of the evening to see where everyone else on my team was. I'm assuming a similar sort of level.
Tonight :
Buck Salinger done.
Katie Hannon done. (by my team, at least)
Talos SG still in my tray. (for anyone that missed badge/temp previously)
Badges, Silly hats and temp powers aplenty. Buck's final mission was comically easy. Mr. Celcius and Aerial stood blocking the road with two Hurricanes, while any mobs that appeared got immobilised, taunted, debuffed, feared, confused, shot, zapped, punched, spat at by walking plants, hit by various illusions and otherwise never even made it remotely close to the henge....
This Sunday, Moonfire, I think. May as well try for a full set of TF accomplishment badges

"Hehe..... That was fun last night, we kicked butt. I might wear my silly hat next week" - WinteRose
Our team got to 33-34 in the end.
We went back and redid Kelly Nemmers' arc which was horribly full of Red Caps and things were a bit shakey on those gnome-infested hills.
But then we got off the slopes and began Montague's Midnighter arc for a change of pace and things clicked much more nicely.
Next week, we'll do/redo the Hannon TF. Azomas suggested a Hannon race between the teams, which might be fun...
We'd better do it on Heroic this time if it's going to be a race then...
How do I like my MMOs? I like them the way Paragon Studios used to make them. - a fitting tribute from kiasa.org
EU, Union mostly.
"Team 3" marched through Buck's arc.
The henge was never in danger with the constant barrage of rain, sleet, snow, ice, blizzard, vines, confusion and a pet Flay Trap! At one point we almost felt sorry for the pesky little critters
After a spot of CoT bashing in Talos we all ended up in the 32-34 range I think.
An inter-team race through the Hannon TF sounds like fun next week...
Sorry I've missed a couple lads hope it's been as much fun as usual. When RL stops encroaching on my Cyberspace I'll look forward to seeing you all for some more nICE times.
Sunday evening warning.
Silly Hat shopping tomorrow.
Tonight, we had a wander through Moonfire.
2 hours, 3 seconds in total, and I still don't have a clue what Arakhn looks like, as she vanished under a mountain of effects.
Utterly carp selection of recipes at the end though...
