Thinking of quiting CoX / Union Server. (Heroes.)

Due to the attitudes of some so called 'Heroes'.

This post is to give other players this info and maybe a good hero or two may get me to change my mind...

Seems a shame to delete 12 characters (toons) due to server attitude. (Or all 24 if I quit.)

Maybe YOU can persuade me not to.

I beleieve at one time or another, every hero has looked at his/her cape and wondered if it was all worth it. I dont know if you can elaborate on this attitude problem is?

I may not be the best person to give persuasion, as im currently hardly playing CoX at all! Im waiting for I12 before i make any kind of regular playage again. Maybe you should do the same. I will say now tho, Dont quit totally! If you think you need it, jst have a break! Would be a shame ,as you say, to delete your toons.

There are some idiots and they are not worth bothering with. Put them on global ignore and dont let them ruin your fun. If you still enjoy the game dont let them win by ruining it for you.
But a break might be the best idea right now. Either that or doing a tf with a friendly bunch and seeing that there is a large group of people here that are worth playing with in your spare time.

Not exactly in Union, but in Defiant, some friends of mine have stopped playing recently because they got bored of doing all the time the same but they'll be back when Issue 12 goes live because they got some lvl 50 villains and they want to try both VEATS and Proliferated characters. As dipstar said, just take a break and then come back when Issue arrives.

There will always be a die hard band of complete muppets of CoX - as has been said just ignore them. I have been on some teams with complete t***p**s who are rude, arrogant and strip everything that is fun from the game. These are teams you leave in search of better times! Tbh my Global List has been my faithful companion since I started and I still team/chat with a lot of the people I got to know when first playing. This always gives me a regular chance of teaming with some good people who play for fun and have a laugh together! If you find even one person you enjoy teaming with add them to your server friends as then you have someone around your level to team with for a fair while. Stay a while - if you are on Union look me up on @Golden-Phoenix - if you are on Defiant I can't help you - I have nothing ont here yet

I don't think it's server's fault. Most people think that because they are playing a "game" and been protected by internet's anonymity, how they react doesn't matter.

Most, fail to realize that this is one more social activity, that they are playing with other people like them, so they believe that there is no need to think before they act (or think how *they* would react if someone was acting like them).

You can never know what to expect when you're PuGing. I am not saying to stop PuGing all together, but I strongly suggest you to take a couple of friends with you while doing that. Damage will mitigate if you know that you're not alone in this.

theres been a many a time ive thought about leaving union for defiant (and withing 2 wks sorry 20 mins i was back on union). also put the game down for a couple of wks ... team with your global freinds sit back and chill
