SteelRat, It was actually thanks to most of the friendly responses post to this that I decided to stay.
Also it is good for the new players to see how (reasonably) friendly the forumites are.

Im trudginly having to agree with Steel on this, but if your staying- it's all good.
Your OP did have the whole "Please tell me how much you like me so i stay" feel to it. But, how about we drop the argument and just say good to see your staying.

Sorry to hear this, here's a few points to peruse....
Don't delete the toons, that'd be a waste.
Ignore muppets.
Take a few weeks break.
CoX has the best online community I've experienced, if you think this is bad, maybe online games aren't for you.
The good outweigh the bad a thousand fold.
It's not server specific, there are buffoons on ALL servers, thankfully, not too many.
Ignore, ignore, ignore.

Maybe some doubt your intentions but believe me i can really hear you. I left that game because of that kinda people out there. I was very happy with DDO which has more mature playerbase than CoH. Lately i was compeletly out of online gaming. As DDO changed its payment methods and i didn't want to change mine instead i re-activate my CoH account. Game is great and i still didn't come across with that kinda people you mention and i remember.
Taking a break is a good option. This game is too good to compeletly give it up. Just take your time, rest and miss this game. When you come back you'll see everything differently. Heh i am even leveling up a tanker nowadays, if someone told me i could play a tanker that eagerly before i left, i'd laugh to their face.
Add me to your globals if you want, if you see me online sometime, i will be happy to team up with you.
