I'm fine with this if it would be classed as shapeshifting or transmogrification, but cross-dressing and transvestite superheroes is just a bit, well, daring. I cannot stress enough that transgender people do not bother me in real life, nor does the concept; infact I happen to know one. If transgender superheroes are brought into the comic world, then that's fine, but I don't think CoH should be the arc to bring it.

It's all fine and dandy to say, "Don't like it? Don't use it.", but I sure hope our team of developers does'nt think like that, and I highly doubt that they do, or they'd lose alot of subscribers very fast.

Don't even think of saying, "there's no argument for why it should'nt be implemented", because you're wrong. And what you're saying is completely different, Spiderman and Spiderwoman are two different people, he didn't get his reproductive organs changed.

It would just (in my opinion), be far too strange.

You're right, lots of things aren't normal in the comic world. But that's not our argument, we're saying that a transgender system would be COMPLETELY out of place and unorthodox in such an environment. Mystique shape changes, I personally, forgive me if I'm wrong; can't recall a hero who has went into a surgery and had a sex change.

There's a HUGE number of quite valid reasons for being able to do this, most of which have been mentioned already. It doesn't hurt anyone, so why not?

Not really, that's part of the comic world, it's like mixing a western and a space film. Transgender ideas belong in a more indie kind of culture. Certain things are ordinary in certain cultures, but when you mix them, the results are odd. Like a monkey living underwater; people would be baffled!

I'm against this, it'd make the game too bizarre.
If you want a female toon, roll a female toon.
If you want a male toon, roll a male toon.
If you want a huge toon, roll a huge toon.

I suppose Male -> Huge would'nt be so bad, but City of Transvestites would just be odd. I'm not against the concept in real life, but CoX, after all, is not real life.

On a more serious note, we'll be ready for SG arena pretty soon I should imagine, we have a relatively decent amount of buffers, just need to organize them into teams.

Teleporting a player into a mob is simply bad sportsmanship; however, teleporting them into mines is a completely different animal, and is a fair and valid tactic due to the time it takes to place the bombs and the insight required to find a good place to, "set up".

Neither of the strategy's are griefing, simply annoying.

Exactly, people get blinded by anger in PvP zones (at least those who are less seasoned in the area), most of the time it's best to just ignore them, however excruciating it may be.

I was displaying the contrast of being firm (as a PvP'er should be if he wants to get any PvP); yet just, as a human should also be. Though I suppose that depends entirely on the person, which is why I applied those rules only to myself.

I have a strict policy in zones, I'll attack everyone and everything as long as I'm not familiar and global friends with them. However, if they ask me very nicely to leave them alone, then I will.

Good way to balance between being a PvP'er and a human I reckon.

Fire/Fire Blasters can't solo farm, they'll die and run out of end too quickly etc etc. Maybe with insps, but being dependant on inspirations is a bit risky. I'd say they can easily farm with a buffer though.
