I tend to perhaps kill them once and move on although ranting in broadcast that they want to be left alone is like showing a red flag to a bull.

I tend not to broadcast if I'm farming you only need to watch to see whats someone's up to then it's up to them as I tend not to attack 1st. If I'm attacked I fight back and if defeated I will chace you round the zone untill I get revenge or untill you get bored of killing me. So go ahead attack the farmer but if the farmer turns round and starts chacing you round 
well being an empath I'd be very careful who you pick on.

I should of add a bit to that. There are exceptions to the rule there are players you know will attack no matter what so if I see them I attack 1st. Reccently added a controller and a blaster to that list :P

I have a strict policy in zones, I'll attack everyone and everything as long as I'm not familiar and global friends with them. However, if they ask me very nicely to leave them alone, then I will.
Good way to balance between being a PvP'er and a human I reckon.

Some PvPers have inhuman skill but you can't put all PvPers in the same category and a better way of putting it would be - PvP and be polite. Anything else and your just showing how ignorant and prejudiced you are.

I'm not talking about some form of mythical skill. I'm talking about having green skin, eating newborn babies and conversing in a strange language that contains more symbols than actual letters. Oh, and the smell.
I thought it was widely known that all PvPers are evil mutants from outer space? 
Just go pwn 'em. I'd leave them alone though if they were fighting NPCs, really annoying and cowardly if you attack someone who's fighting an NPC already...

Its only annoying if your not expecting it, which is stupid as your in a PvP zone and you should be expecting an attack. Sometimes I attack NPCs just so someone attacks me. Its not cowardly as your stepping up for a fight and risking debt as there are NPCs nearby.

I know from both sides how it works.
I do attack ppl on site depending on my mood. I do attack ppl farming but if they ask or state that they are farming I will tend to leave them alone.
I farmed pillboxes on my brute from 40-50 and got attacked quite a lot.
Once you get a gank squad in you have two options - have some pvp fun or leave zone and do something else for a while.
Constantly spamming broadcast about being left alone can be like a red rag to a bull. I saw a tanker in RV a few weeks back and i 'think' it was sniff stalked him. He said plz leave me alone now then repeatedly kept rezzing in zone and kept getting killed. Tbh it was extremely funny. Why he didnt go to base to rez was a mystery to me.
It IS a pvp zone. If you really dont want to be attacked by other players DO NOT ENTER. That said with our smaller population I do think a more sensible approach is to try and draw ppl in rather than put them off pvp permanently.
And any experienced pvp'er knows the difference between a newb and a regular.
pwn, its a pvp zone nothing makes me want to go kill someone more than broadcasts about "oh thanks i was farming"
If i however kill a farmer once and they just take it on the chin i will leave them alone

Just spank em, and if the comment " Im just farming" comes upp, i just reply "So?, read the the BIG sign when you enter the zone" or you could say " Im just pvp´n" .

Recently I've noticed a growing number of villain in RV that broadcast that "they are only here to grind exp". As my pure empath defender need more pvp kills; Is it accepted behaviour to first mention that it's a dangerous zone and then go all out on their cowardly butts? I know that I've been ganked quite a few times when only grinding. Not that I broadcast that I'm not fighting....
