Sorry but i think you have that very wrong villains is far from over powered, its hero side that has the edge,

One last thing OMG you are moaning about that when hero side has had empathy all this time, a good empath in pvp will always tip the balance a buffed blaster is just a killing knightmare its about time villains will soon be able to match this kind of power in pvp

Villians dont got anything that compareĀ“s to blasters, so they will always be weaker then heroes IMO.

Since when has a blaster stood a chance vs a stalker? even with +perc they cant see them unless they happen to know there coming and have like 10 accuracy insps handy.

Also set a mastermind on a blaster and there dead.

Set a Dominator on a blaster and it very much depends on who has first hit.

These are all the villians ive personally raised to 50 i havent tried a brute or corrupter. I suspect they will have problems though.

Back to original point though, teleporting stalker = god lol

First of all the reason you say heroes is overpowered is simply the fact that its more popular, as more people play it. This doesnt help with a lot of people complaining theres more lag over there.

'The edge' your talking about is blasters and scrappers, i assume. Neither of which can take down a well played stalker, and no im not saying it because i cant beat them, im saying it because I have one, an energy/SR stalker is god, end of.

As for the resists i didnt say remove them, i didnt say anything i dont think actually tbh lol, point i was trying to make though is lower there resists when out of hide to holds etc, to stop the regular hit and run forest run tactic, this being said though out of hide there damage is pretty rubbish so i think that needs putting up a bit whilst lowering there crit a little.

I know this is going to get flames all over place, reason i said this is because then classes with weaker resists would just get two hitted thinking what just happened? They do need a boost in damage out of hide though to deal with tankers etc.

Finally as far as pain domination goes, if you learned to read full paragraphs you'd realise i was complaining about mastermind getting it, not corrupter. I have an empath defender myself so i know how it can help in the right pvp situation, i agree villains need it, just not on mastermind.

A mastermind made to heal and buff pets is just basically another fire/kin controller which already needs something done, any class that can solo an AV has something wrong...

Have a go at CoX, the pvp is a bit lop sided towards heroes, but apart from that its not a bad game.

I started this thread ages ago before the changes to stalker were made though so i havent had chance to play my stalker lately.
Its good to see they were looked at though, and yes i definately agree now blasters need looking at after playing mine and two shotting a tank (ok he was a fire tank but still)

I dont play any other game, maybe you do, but i dont. Its only lopsided because people dont like playing villains, ironically because of the lack of people on it, i mean have you tried getting a team recently? theres like one team for every ten levels.

It's got nothing to do with the number of players, it's lopsided because villains havent got a very strong ranged damage AT, or anything as strong as empathy to buff with.

Thankfully that might change a bit with the villain version of empathy.

PVP is getting there, atm for me at least theres only 2 issues that need looking into to decide wether they influence the out come of Matches to much. They are Defenders Unresitable Debuffs and the Unresistable Damage portion of blasters.

Duel wise you will never have a equality and SHOULD never expect it either, we need the disparity to distinguish the fact we have different ATs.

Basically I pretty much only blast. tbh stalkers suck. If they played by someone good, they can be annoying. If there not, its basically just laughable. Now Anglesabre please shut up, you dont know what your talking about. If you find all those problems with blasters, your doing something wrong. Not one of those ATs I would be worried by, unless the person playing toon was amazing, beacuse tbh, player skill > any AT.
