Scrappers are great, not gods, just mob clearers. I cant stand it when people try and put themselves on a pedistal just because they chose powers for the hired muscle! Just do your job ... clear mobs .. and stop suckin each others d##k's! God id choose a friendly team who knew nothing of the game, rather than being on a team with an arrogant scrapper who wants to flex his muscles! thats "Soz gtg SG biz" time!
Btw i actually love scrappers, i have 4 atm! i just do what is asked of me, clear the mob infront of me and if needs be, protect those who have aggro'd straglers.

No one I team with -ever- seems to know how Cysts work. It's really, really annoying. You try and tell them and they -still- run in at once and the blasters all go to melee it!
When the team finally announces they've had enough of this silly mission and you tell them to hold on, click elude and dance through the mobs clicking the glowies as you go. It's possible if you weren't playing a scrapper you may actually have thought of this tactic before everyone else hit the debt cap, but hey...you can't have everything.

I ask him if he has ever fought 20 jaegers and he tells me no but he did hold off 3 AVs in the Ouroboros TF.
You also know your scrapper is God-like because you actually played it instead having it power lvled like the noob who didn't know what evasion was the first time i asked him.

Ah, the downfalls of Positional rather than Typed defence...
How are those guys against Rularuu and Carnies these days anyway? AFAIK some of those Mind/ and Illusion/ powers are still only flagged as Psionic not ranged/melee/AoE.
It's difficult to say who my Strongest Scrapper is... my Spines/DA beats the pants off my Kat/Regen versus non-lethal damage and Ranged/AoE damage, but the Regen rules versus Melee and Lethal. Also the DA is far better versus Minions/LTs, they're about even on +0/+1/+2 Bosses, and against EBs or harder Bosses the Regen wins. Versus AVs the Regen is better solo (sometimes can survive indefinately) and the DA is better teamed (can tank some with support and doesn't suffer from being inside PBAoE range nearly as much as the Regen).
If I had to pick one, it'd be my Human/Dwarf Bi-form Peacebringer.
What? He's a /Regen Scrapper, just without Integration and with a tier 9 that's actually useful...
Without Aid Self, which Flitz does not have, /SR scrappers still only have two states - godlike and faceplant. It's either 'cant touch this' or 'ouch, rez plz'. Keeps life interesting. And rularuu are still a pain, carnies less so.

I'd still say my Regen was my strongest but damn its dull to play. With regen you have to make a mistake to die or get hit by two AVs at once really. My regen comes out of retirement every 3 or 4 months for a day or so, and then I remember and back she goes. One day she might get 50
Vs Carnies am fine, its only Dominate AFAIK that doesn't have a positional value (I could be wrong but that's the attack that is never dodged or eluded for me, sometimes it misses though)
Still not tested the shards, I don't recall having big problems with anything there except their def debuffs (was before SR got resistance to def debuffs that I was there)
I guess I really should test it

My Kat/SR loves to fight Carnies, vulnerable to lethal damage and their end drains can't hit.

I like the edgy feel of SR, I run Zero most of the time hardly using elude at all! Most of the time he can get through invincible missions no problem ( with some clever knockdown management he's pretty nifty even in bigger mobs ) but there are always down days when mob accuracy tends to go against me, but thats part of the appeal I think.
Rularuu are problamatic, conceeded, but given the horrible, horrible shard design ( in my opinion ) I never tend to go there anyway!

I would fall back and let a ranged attack do the finish and cause the PBAoEs. A lot of scrappers on their last strip of health would finish off a jaeger and thus finish off themselves.

Oh its not just the Jaegers its the cones too, all the damn cones they have. Its easy to avoid the Jaegers blowing up, managed fine on my blaster who uses mosly PBAoEs herself.
Of couse I didn't have Aid Self in my build when I was leveling that got added in a level 50 respec. I have very unhappy memories of those levels, just feeling incomplete compared to other scrappers. Seems silly that SR has that weakness for so long

Only on the hero side, Stalker SR has hide to compensate for the lack of a passive AoE def, thing is they get it from lvl 1 and seems to OVER compensate.
I have a great love of /SR on my stalker and my scrapper. For me the feeling of 'it's all down to luck. Do I feel lucky? well do i? punk!' just makes me love the set more. I'm either the first to faceplant, and then get to watch the remaining fight from the cold comfort of the floor, or remain standing till the end or overwhelming odds finally win through.
It's the set you gamble with, unlike the resistance sets which are more predictable.
