I've added my character Jane Lundgren to the Wiki. First attempt at a page like this, so any feedback will be welcome.
The character isn't active just yet, but will be in the near future. I also need to add the girl's history.
/edit - Adjusted her height/weight values. I knew those looked a bit over the top. 
/edit the second - Added some things. Didn't realise deleting an entry in the character box placed it as "classified", rather than removing the entry altogether.
Can't edit my above post anymore, so a new one.
I've updated the page entirely now. "Full" history, neater layout, etc. If anyone can see glaring issues such as typos, contradictions or stuff that just doesn't make sense...please point it out to me!

Over the course of the last 2 weeks I have been doing some serious updating of many of my pages.

Edited Impervium Tower's page to add the fact that he is now part of The Court of the Blood Countess.
I have also done a serious re-con of one of my toons. Warshade Eleven does not exist anymore!
I have re-cond the character name to Adam Dennison and made him an old friend of Eleven's before Eleven went on his warrior lifestyle. For some reason having a alternate Eleven that was a Warshade did not make sense to me anymore.
*Thanks NC Soft for Character rename option so I did not have to rebuild another Warshade from scratch with new name!* 
BTW, I have cleaned out Warshade Eleven's page and changed any links in the wiki that refered to him to now point to Adam Dennison. Is there a way I can totally delete the Warshade Eleven page?
Only toons left to write for now is Dr Brian K Roberts and Eric Bridgeland. Hopefully I will have at least one of them done by the end of next week.

Right - quick question that relates specifically to the Handbook in terms of taking screenshots....
Is there a 'free camera' mode? I cannot ever take decent close-ups that don't cut off the legs.
Seeing some people's pictures, are they better because someone else has taken them and sent them to you?

Should be the option for it in your keybind menu. It's the middle mouse button/mouse button 3 by default, I believe (I've personally set it to Page Up).

Unfortunately the camera is still tied to my character so I'm guessing I may need to ask some peeps to take a few pictures for me to get the look I desire.

Aye, unfortunately there's no way to detach the camera entirely. Even so, with a bit of tweaking and cunning use of scenery it's usually quite possible to get a decent shot or two.
Though yes, badger people into helping for the best results.

I probably only manage decent shots myself because of my display (an insane 1920x1200, which means the closest shots tend to need chopping and resizing... a lot).
If you need a photographer, just shout whenever I'm in game, I'm almost always at GG every night.

Ok, today I finally got round to completing the remaining two character pages from my list of toons.
You'll find that Eric Bridgeland and Dr Brian K Roberts are now complete.
There we are then, thats all of my toon pages done with maybe only minor edits to do in the future.
How long has it taken me, about 6 months or something!

I've been in contact with some of the staff of the Virtueverse Wiki, or more to the point, they've been in contact with me about some changes on their end that may, will and could affect us. It can be summed up really in three points.
Point the first!
The servers sorely need upgrades, and possibly standardization of the maintenance windows for the sites. Also purges of redundant data and bots to make some of the menial tasks that have to get done easier. Typo rectifying, spam removal and so forth.
Point the second!
Making the install for VV and UV identical, different appearances as before but the extensions and features being identical so upgrading is easier.
Point the Third!
There has been discussion about a possible merger or linking with Paragonwiki or a cross server fan wiki. There's been discussions already on the Virtue Wiki site, so discussion can take place here. Also the back-end team are looking to place interwiki links between VV, UV and Paragonwiki.
Now, this last point is a major one, so I'd like to see people's views on the matter, and I can send them back to the other team.
Also, if people want to step up and do admin and mod work for the wiki, we can discuss something. I'm not that active any more, but considering the hours I keep, I'm willing to stay on to provide correspondance between the US and EU sides, passing on notes and so forth.
I still think the website is fine as it is. It is a simple job that we use it for; to file, read, update and publish our characters, supergroups, etc, and its doing that perfect. The outside links to the Virtue Universe and Paragon Wiki do just fine, so in my opinion, there is no need for an internal merge. However, the spell-checking, spam-deleting bots sound like a nice addition. I'm willing to discuss this idea in greater detail with the VV admin.
Onto more local matters, Zortel agrees with me that changing the system for our character-spotlighting Main Page to a request-based update, rather than random selections, would in fact, allow those wanting center-stage to get it directly, correct? Do *you* want to be on the front page? Thoughts please. (11934)

Ooh, motivation for really doing something with your wiki! It's nice to know that when you've used hours and hours on creating a wiki page, you can request that it be put on the front page for all to enjoy, instead of waiting for the randomness. I like this idea.

Am I the only one who's noticed that someone seems to be registering under randomised (as in hammered the keyboard a few times randomised) names, going onto pages and adding a single word of randomised rubbish onto different pages?

not spotted anything like that .. and i normally go in via recent changes page to see whats happening ..
I've done a little work with my toons pages today.
I've gone over my exsiting pages and done a little tidying up. Corrected some spelling and grammer, added links to things that needed links and update character history that I thought was a bit out of date now.
I have also created a new page for one of my new villain toons Senshu Hitoku.
Still need to add a picture for him, but in fact I will be updating all my toons pictures ether tonight or tomorrow as some have had costume changes, plus with my newer PC I can get more high rez shots.
Should have another new page done tomorrow for my other new villain, Template.
Other than that, over the next 2 weeks, I will be going back to what I had started a few months ago which was a number of articles to submit for a possible special look at The Dunelm Group for Capes magazine.
In fact I think there is only 1 article left to do, but I will probably go back on the other ones and re-read them and probably end up changing a lot. After that just a case of getting some suitable images for it all and then I'll submit it.
Thats assuming Blackdove is still accepting submissions for Capes?
