Yeah, when he's running the place on his own, he's got to prioritize his workload, and something like this wouldn't come top of the "to do" list.

Seriously, this thread is not as much dead as it is only asleep or in stasis (no, not you Stase ) if you will. Once the issue is out and another CC makes his appearance, I'm sure K will resume the Creative Genius Contest.

I hope you'll not have to wait as the french community has to.
We're missing the creative geniuses since april 2007...and has many prices of course. And above everything else our thread is going to die cause of it.

Let's hope you're right. ^^

Wow derailment city! haha

btw - Not that it's probably going to make any difference, with the high number of nominatinos for Max and Pious, but I'd like to nominate Healing.

The picture on the thread just finished me off... They had to drag me to the white van, laughing all the way...

He didn't say which Friday, stay calm everyone

"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"

You have no idea how funny I found that comment . Suffice to say you mirrored a long running in-joke from a previous game I worked on.

To be specific: this Friday!

Seeing as they've waiting so long, I think BOTH entrants for June should win!

I'm sure after six months of waiting, I can handle another few hours.

Righto ... so it's been a long time, there's been changes in the people running the show and a whole lot more and that's resulted in a long, long delay. Whoops . Without further beating around the bush:

Congratulations to TomCat, who has belatedly won the June 2007 award for the Blistering Heat series of images.

There were three very good nominations for the June award. The other two richly deserve the high praise and nominations they received.

_Max_ receives the first Honourable Mention for his Rocky Horror adaptation. A lot of people here got a lot of enjoyment out of your work. Great job!

Pious also receives an Honourable Mention for his series of avatars provided to the community. It says a lot that many are still being used so many months later.

An official post will follow on the website later this week announcing the above and that the nominations for the January Creative Genius awards are opening. Did I say awards, plural? How did that slip out... *ahem*

Please remember to review the Creative Forum rules, and in particular the notes on eligibility for Creative Genius nomination. The nominations will open on February 1st, so keep your eyes open for the new thread then.

Congratulations to TomCat, I'm sure the wait has been worth it.

That's two honourable mentions down, goodness knows how many to go, until I get a special forum-title for it.

Congratulations TomCat!

Max, Pious... welldone guys!.
