Whats Wrong with RV

No, PvE'rs can't tell PvP'ers to not fight them, but c'mon, PvP'ers, you have as little right to tell anyone they can't PvE or farm.
[/ QUOTE ]
You're right. They're perfectly within their rights to do whatever they like. Doesn't mean we won't kill 'em though.
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly. The last thing I'd do is tell anyone they can't do something in a PvP zone, because my thoughts on the matter are that as long as you're not breaking the EULA, it's allowed. So the farming is allowed, but so is killing the farmers.
That given, I do think it's fairly pointless to whine at either the farmers or the people killing the farmers. I'm more irritated by the latter, though, because it's just ridiculous to complain when you're killed in a PvP zone.

...especially when you've just been killed by the farmer you were moaning at and trying to kill. That IS priceless .

/arena Less people in RV please

Yes - too many slows the flow of those sweet, sweet rivers of Inf

Inf in RV aint that good. . .farming 6 man spawns with a fire/kin solo, is way better.

And they could do something with Recluse's Victory. Instead of having Level 54 Turrets why not reduce them to Level 50. This would dramatically lower the rewards they give. Also, lower the "Elite Boss" Heavies down to Level 50 so it can prevent players from being one-shotted.

Works for me.

Not if you are farming in RV with a kin too
How many rounds of RV is it possible to complete in 1 hour with a kin?
Jupiter is slow looking into his notebook, but he always looks.

You can also farm NPCs while the zone is resetting, but you get even more inf/xp teaming with two other fellows and buffing their heavies too (let alone if it's other 2 kins)
Ok cool.. didn't really answer my question though
I imagine farming 6 man spawns solo is still better inf, and much more reliable.. but would be interested to know max inf gain in 1 hour from RV solo as a kin (or as kin duo), if anyone knows..

Well each turret gives like 88k inf each iirc (not completelly positive tho, and I'm not at home atm to find out) at lv50, and you can have farm the zone completelly in about 10-12 mins soloing on a kin.
So 88 x7(number of pillboxes)x 4(turrets per pillbox) throws something like 2.5M inf the first 12 mins, plus 5 mins downtime (that you can spend farming NPCs for extra inf or not) and then 10 more minutes for yet 2.5... So I guess that, not farming while downtime, you get like 5 million each 30 mins, so that means roughly about 10 million an hour if you solo
Ok, then make it 50k (each turret) x 7 (pillboxes) x 4 (turrets each pillbox) x 4 (times you can do it in an hour) = 5.6 million an hr, npcs and drops apart, provided that you just stand still the 5 minutes it takes to reset the zone

And assuming nobody decides to intervene to prevent temporal reset, or assassinates you.
It should be noted that I heartily approve of both responses to farming

The situation is usually pretty much under control - RV is a model co-op zone at most times

I would always stop farming for some pvp fun too
Dont forget that turrets DO drop recipes and tech salvage. They just dont drop magic salvage. But they can for instance, drop costume recipes among other mob pool recipes. Selling common recipes adds nicely to income.
Though unless you've a buffer you're probably not going to manage to reset the zone even 3 times in an hour, never mind 4. Damn those heavies are slow...

In 6 man spawned mission at level 50 you make more than that due to the insane drop rate.I wont even go about 8 man spawns with 2 fire/kin.
I really wish the devs remove all this [censored] from RV and finally wake up from the god damn sleep of noobness they are sleeping all this long and instead of adding friggin costumes wake the hell up smell thr grass and remove this [censored] from pvp zones.
PvE mobs and/or PvE objectives are fine in a PvP zone, but you know there's something wrong when they become the main focus of the zone for most people.
"Whats Wrong with RV" ?
That it's a PvP zone

You get huge loots from torrets too, yesterday i got rocket boots and burnt wings in 2 hours besides, those calculations are being done considering you spend 20 minutes of that hour just standing, instead of farming longbow/arachnos with ur buffed heavy
i apologise if i ranted a bit too hard but i was in bad mood at that moment and the thought of RV just made me go

I'm reliably informed that it's 1.2 million inf per round of RV solo at 50.. you say 1.4, so not much difference anyway.. I was just interested in how many times you think it possible to do a round with and without a kin.
There are plenty of much easier, risk-free ways to earn more than 5 million inf in an hour.. but I dont deny that it is... not bad.
When you find the enemy that provides 45k each in a duo and can be one shotted by a blaster you'll know good inf

Exactly. But it's horses for courses actually ingame, and not the hypothesising here, where just as much grief is started by PvP'er as PvE'ers. I'm simply saying the [censored] flies both ways , and that I don't see the point that a zone has to be played any particular way because any person says so either way. I just go play it. Turrets, NPCS, Heavies, players, I'll shoot at anything indiscriminately . With a big robot.
For the record I don't class myself as a PvP'er or PvE'er. I just play.
