Sooooo, erm, are you *cough* arranging another one for this weekend Xanthus?

Well done, I would have loved to come but I had work

Good job all

Sounds like the new Hami isn't too shabby after all; will definately make an effort to come along to the next raid . Unfortunately I had a SMTF to do on that day with the sg, ended up lasting 7 hours with no luck on bringing down recluse's generators .

Wow. You make it look so simple!

I'd just like to thank Xanthus and the PDs for planning and running this, although it's amazing how many other people seem to have been responsible for it in retrospect.

Agreed. I really think Cryptic did a good thing by giving everyone something to contribute this time. It really comes down to everyone working together.

Also I'd like to add that Teamspeak worked really well and added a lot of coordination.

Well done guys (& gals). Pity I missed it, but there will be others, I hope!

Was a awesome raid i must amit and i dont really care that i reached the debt cap either since i had so much fun
Truely it felt like an epic battle my favourite part of the raid was when everyone on the green attacking team (or team distraction/ meatshield ) was dead and the only ones left holding the mito's attention was just me and xanthus for about 30 seconds untill he jinxed it and mentioned it on team speak leading to both our deaths

I love that the new Hami means that the Blasters, Trollers and Defenders need to be the meatshield this time, drawing aggro from the tankers and scrappers.

BTW, I'm thinking of bring my Human/Nova PB along next time, if she's reached lv50 by then. Do you think she'd do best on the Yellow team? Or just switch it up depending on situation/numbers I guess...

Oh, and... IIRC there was a rule with the old Hami saying not to use AOE attacks. With less mitos and them more spread out, do you think that still needs to stand?

I don't think so mate, but it wouldn't help much either. The Mythos need to be taken each at a time, and usually ST yields more damage. But no, I don't think there would be a problem.

Does the PB nova work the same was as the WS one? Where the cone does the most damage?

The Strategy - Before going, team people are spammed with Clarity, Clear Mind and Inertial Reduction.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do you not mean Increased Density rather than Inertial Reduction.

Actually do the mitos/hami now ignore taunts - if not I don't see why the obvious wouldn't work - 3 or 4 tanks/brutes (or anyone with provoke for that matter) fill all their insp slots with EoEs and taunt the mitos whilst everyone else just hits hami ignoring the mitos. I'm sure there must be a flaw in this - its just too obvious but EoEs are supposed to give 1 minutes protection from mitos and hami.

Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

I assume the greens would easily keep Hami healed in that scenario. Plus the mitos that spawn when Hami passes a health threshold get added to the mitos that survive from the previous wave (BackAlleyBrawler demonstrated that to the raiders in the private Beta on Test) so after the first threshold there would be 12 of each type of mito around Hami instead of 6. Things would get very messy very quickly.
