The Art Request Thread

I have a few characters that I'd love to have some artwork done on. I've included a couple here for anyone to try their hand at drawing if they have the time or inclination.

First is Sunderbolt, he is not your typical hothead blaster. He feels a deep sense of responsibility and he believes that moxie, backed up by super powers, will see him through most situations. He is no stranger to the limelight and has a very gregarious personality.

I'm really very proud of this costume. Though not his original I feel like I really nailed the superhero look here.


Next is Redwood Giant. He was my first level 50 and I had a blast playing him. He is quiet almost to the point of reticence. Though not talkative Redwood Giant is not anti-social. He smiles and laughs easily, has a very paternal and protective nature and exudes a sense of calm strength.

I wanted to do a character that didn't feel the need for a superhero costume and since his original job was that of a logger I decided to stick with the jeans and work boots look. I think it works very well.

Wow, this is exactly the thread I have been looking for for a long time! I have tried repeatedyl to draw my main for an avatar but every time it comes out as some failure piece that I scrap and throw away.

Is there any rules as to how to propose you character? Can I just link him up and one of you talented people will draw it?

OK. This is a request for someone else who is quite the *ahem* volunteer, herself.

Over on Twitter, Samuraiko voiced the idea of a holiday-themed pic starring Posi and Sora, protagonists of her CoH fanfic novel "The Course of Superhero Romance". She did mention wanting it "risque'" but didn't go into details.

Now you all know Michelle's skill in writing, and in machinanima/video editing.

Any artists want to talk to Michelle, find out how 'involved' this piece would be? She IS broke and unemployed, so this would be either a gift or a barter, if indeed any of you could use her skills with pen or Premiere. You would have to iron out those details with her, of course.

I'm willing to have my characters be subject to more of our local artists' grubby hands and pens. I don't have a lot of ref shots at the moment, but if there's anything that catches your interest within the images I linked to, you can PM me if you need any more information.

A friend of mine did this for me..It's my lvl 50 Fire Fire Fairy of Doom sitting on Mjolnir. He'd love to do more for a fee. Click his linky and email him what you'd like done with several screenies.

Rather odd art request but actually see my signature.

I was wondering if someone could knock up a 'badge icon' for my forum earned badge, unfortunately I can't seem to make it look very good when I do it myself.

As you can see from the signature, the badge's name is Wing Clipper and the flavoured text reads 'Real Showstopper'. Just wondering if you artsie types could knock up something to go with the name.
