The Art Request Thread

This is not a request for art but some questions that I'm not entirely sure belong here.

Are there any artists lurking this thread that are interested illustrating very robotic or very alien looking CoH toons? Or have done so here in the past? I'm not really looking for art yet. I'm just wondering if there is a thread already here with prior examples to browse.

About Silver Cyclone. he is wind based, and a mantle bearer who resides in the temple of the Order of the Four Winds [my SG on Ex hehe]. As a Wind Avatar he is wearing very little gauzey clothing [zombie worked best to look gauzey, but ideally he has just a small cloth tied around his hips and a cape tied on with some chords] and some gauntlets with faces blowing wind . also he faintly has the tiger print on his chest to represent the winds he controls. almost always flying, whirlwinding and casting tornado XD

That is an amazing work!

Going to throw a screen at the art request wall and hope it sticks. I do have a preference for sketch/line-art type work but I'll take anything to build up my collection.

I actually have many characters that either don't have art or need updated art, and as much as I'd like to commission and support the creative community, it really isn't in my fiscal means to do so. (It's probably like that for a lot of people.)

I'll start with one I've actually posted elsewhere, and see what comes of it. I might post more later if people are willing to bear with me. :P




Gumption, a detective who works a private investigations office in Steel Canyon. He has a cowboy's attitude and an athlete's determination. He's also a mutant gifted with above-average strength and healing, but with one little quirk: when his skin comes into contact with water it becomes extremely adhesive and gum-like, sticking to most anything it comes into contact with. It causes him much annoyance, but he does find "practical" ways of using his gum hide to his advantage.

I'm gonna use my (for now) temporary VIP power to make use of this thread it and post some references to my own character in the hope an artist feels like drawing/rendering, or whatever skills he/she has available, one of them, or maybe even both.

Hellu. I thought I'd drop off one of my characters and see if anyone wanted to have a jab at her. No worries if not. It's my Praetorian and namesake, Captain "Leadtooth" Lowell.



Mutation Blaster with Dual Pistols/Electricity Manipulation. In my headcanon pirates are a real thing outside of Praetoria City's walls, on the seas and in the air (like Resistance, Sky Raiders and 'classic' pirates), and Leadtooth is one such as captain of the Crimson Corsairs. She's quite a calm with a steady hand, and is well-read in Praetorian lore - she personally sees to uncovering the lies blinding the people.
Oh and she's a werewolf. Guess that counts for something.

Also! I do art sometimes as well. I don't think I'm all that great but I could do requests sometime as well, just some pencil sketches.

I know this may be asking way too much of you NH, but was wondering if you'd be able to do another pic. Totally understandable if you can't, and it's the same toon, just in his armor and using powers.

Little bit about Dekoy is he's that guy that you know is just completely badass-awesome and he knows it. He's a gunslinging immortal who's witty and hates to be a hero but can't help it. Born a villain but really the good guy all at once. Super lazy and tries avoids fighting as much as he can but no one will let him. He uses one gold pistol, and one silver (picture 2). When he fights, it's all about the fun of it, doing crazy fast moves to take out his enemies.

Can Someone PLEASE give my main toon a try?

She has the Purgatory Sword. It's black and red. A nice action pose would be awesome.
