That's what I like to hear, Hami getting wise to the raids. AI in the goo. Sunday evening should be interesting.

Just gotten back from work and heard the raid was succesful. Nicely done people.

As I understand it there wasnt any "unwanted" GM aggro after the mitoclearing or after Hami himself was defeated right? Didnt think so

Well done all. Thanks and congratulations to Hidden Healer and Captain Alpha on organising this.

I did notice alot of Mitos were splitting on this raid, don't know whay that was the case. On one or two occasions there were green healer mitos nearby but not all the time so I cannot explain the reason why.

I think the GM's held off out of respect for my targeting

Just wanted to add that I thought the tank team and their healers did a good job syating one step ahead of the mitos clearing team.

Don't think they were on teamspeak, hence my more than normal calling out in my usual Hami raid CAPITAL LETTERS to Hammer.

Good job guys, if anything, made me be a bit more circumspect in my targeting this time which going forward I think is a good thing.

Speaking as one of the tank healers: It wasn't that hard keeping ahead as Hammerfall kept us moving by regular teamchat.

Nice smooth raid, thanks to the raid leaders, got my first dmg/mez and my first 50 on the same day

Yay us! Well done HH & Capt Alpha, it went smooth and from the time of being asked to enter the Hive, to the goo exploding, it took 1 hour 15 minutes.

Well done defiant

There was some, but I couldnt confirm whether or not it was player-pulled or not. Player interaction sounds feasible since the certain you-know-who was in the hive again talking about pulling GMs..

The raid went ok I guess, the tank team died lots, especially the mitos definitely seemed to pick on some of our members. and I DO mean it! Two people from emp team were getting constant Mito aggro if they were up, even if they wre only healing and standing right next to the others. I couldnt figure it out, but they died like more than 12 times while others were ok..

PA coverage wasnt all that great in the beginning and clearers rushed to the goo before I said anything about consolidating the Hami aggro . Next time we could be bit more patient maybe?

Anyway, thank you all participants, hidden healer, cambo, war man etc for one more HO to my collection

Very smooth going, I was on the GM team this time until the hold phase and didn't notice any hiccups.
No sign of any "ambush" mobs at any point in the raid, and we were keeping a VERY close eye on you guys!

Good Job All!

Yup was very nicely done guys! Seemed to go a whole lot better than the last one hehe :P Good going all around, it's great once we work together to get it done Although Capt had a nasty crash somehow we managed to survive in the GM team so thankies to Flush for the healing goodies, same too to Red for the buffs! Till next time eh?

A little more patience and co-ordination at the start would have been good. Also, calling for PA's to be moved to a specific location isn't likely to see positive results: there are generally only about 4 to 6 points where we can land them at the beginning of the raid and if the required location isn't one of the places we can land them then someone is going to be out of luck Like I said on broadcast last night: moving people to where the PAs are is a lot easier then trying to move PAs to where the people are.

Apart from the hairy start it was a good raid though. Nice work from everyone involved.

There was definitely no GM invasion btw. One came down well after Hami popped but it was being led by the only person on broadcast calling for some GM action. The second GM was pretty much still sitting on the hillside minding its own business when it was attacked.

That and there were only seven PA droppers as opposed to the usual two full teams, one of which repeatedly kept suiciding because he wanted a closer look.

There were more than the usual number of screw ups this time around, and pretty much all of them could be attributed to the groups on the ground. How many NON-HOLD players did we have arsing about during the hold phase for example? Ice Patch, Fulcrum Shift, and a number of Spines attacks for example were all going on during that phase when the people responsible shouldn't have been anywhere near Hami.

Posted

True. Non holders should stay on Coward Hill. Period. Just their presence in the jelly causes more lag.
And really, someone should tell to a couple of empath that they can turn down their heal spam after the mito clearing.
Anyway, good job leaders, it's never easy to lead in the absoute mes sof the hive action.

P.S The best moment ever? Tridento used a bind for mistake while was using our mighty targeter: "Odins Son, may I borrow your brain? I'm building a moron"

And the regular follow up question is: When is the next raid?

That's what I get for trying to send a text to Plight during the raid, look away from the keyboard and instead of hitting a number for a power, hit my "insult" bind. Whoops!

And, when is the next one? I may even put the extra effort in and get Robo up to the required level. Can never have too many empaths

Was a good raid and a quick one at that From the GM team point of view Captain made a very good team and very good healing from Flush and Red Noise. One thing I will say is there were people who wanted to help the GM team out but were making it harder for us by hitting the running away and pulling the GM away from us. Gonna have to make a bind up for the next raid, like Black Mage did

Big thanks to Captain Alpha 01 and Hidden Healer and everyone else who made the raid work. Was a good night for me a HO and a new lvl 50

Cya at the next raid,

Mr. Apollo

Right, a long thank you list here:

Thanks to my co-pilot Hidden Healer for all his efforts at the raid; you're a saint matey . Also a huge thanks to our Hami Tank Hammerfall and his skilled team, also thanks to Righteous Bob and his PA team, also our renowned targetter Odins Son. And a huge thanks to my monster patrol, nicely done; and a massive thank you for everyone who showed up and played their part in making the raid a success.

Unfortunately my net somehow fried for around an hour as soon as I began my run into the Hive, turned out to be a dodgy port in my router; but it's all fixed up now. I managed to make it back just as the holders were moving in, things were looking pretty good from where I was. Although I will apologise to anyone who tried to talk to me as I came back, I wasn't... well I wasn't the happiest bunny shall we say . Ah well the raid wasn't about me, I played such a small part in it, I really do hope the rest of you enjoyed it. Ooooh also me and Hey Man have been discussing making this a weekly event; it is quite a commitment though so it's still another thing on the drawing board.

Until next time raiders,

Cpt. A
