I'm not much of a PvPer, but it's fun once in a while so I'd at least be prepared to pop in once in a while to give everyone a target.

Sounds like it could be a bit of fun. The RV event on the test server ages ago was a good laugh.

I understand the need for a little more attention via general discussion but this may be better served on one of the server boards.

Usually yes, but we're trying to get as many non-PvPer's as poss.
But an inkling of where this might happen could help.

You can count me in, I usually play on Monday nights and will be happy to join in from the villains side as Blind. Can only participate if it's on Union or Test.
Maybe it could be held on both Union and Defiant for the first week and see what sort of turnout we get. If it's not great then maybe move it to test.
Monday nights is Arena PvP night on Test. I can also only join in on Union and Test.
This was similar to a monthly event I was planning late last year - RV Saturday, last Saturday of every month on Defiant.
I still need to sit down and draft the invite for the Heroes and Villains forums
Good luck setting up a weekly session though!

If you make a post with more specific details (what time, what server, how often, etc) and drop me a mail, I'll happily put a news story about it on the website(s).
I think the solution is to have it on the test so we can all join in, it means also we won't have farming to complain about.
Or we could set it up on both servers. I would organise Defiant and someone could organise it on Union (as i don't have a lvl 40 there yet!)
Either or I'm good all day monday Defiant or test.
Shall we say try it on test first and then seperate to The proper servers after we delegate whos willing to organise things and if there is enough people on each server? That way we can get non forumn pvp regulars to join in!

6:30pm is abit early, would only have just started getting tea ready! I hope everyone will still be there an hour or two later.
I will be there on a non-min/max'd-for-pvp toon.
Test would be great actually. Could get a very nice turn out over there.
Running it on test defeats the whole point of taking RV back from the farmers though, surely?

Which is why I said a specific server board rather than the pvp and arena board. Plenty of non-pvp'ers head there.

That is exactly what I was thinking. It will be a lot better if we try and run two events on both Union and Defiant. It's not like it takes a lot of organising.

Following on from deleted thread.
Just been in RV for an hour.
After 50 minutes, two dominators came in.
Their heavy pummeled me. I got back up, surprised them and they had themselves fully healed and me dead before I could fire a second shot.
Let's hope it's actually a game with more people.

In order to try and sovle a problem in RV, I would like to arrange a weekly day where we pvpers go to RV and slug it out. If we schdule it, then I believe we have a better chance of getting at least a half full Zone?
