Global channel idea easiest method to collect people on live servers, although I personally dont have any room extra channels.. and I know im not alone.
I would be up for this if it wasnt on arena night

Shall we try this properly when the test server is up or just do it on the normal servers next tuesday?
My preference would just be going for the normal servers, rather than complicating things any further.
One thing people might want to keep in mind - if our intention is to increase overall PvP activity in RV, then trying to keep sides relatively balanced would be helpful, at least at first. So if one side has a huge advantage, switch sides, if you can, or maybe ask some friends to come in if you're on the losing side. I will happily do this. Otherwise, you risk just chasing people out of the zone, especially the casual players that the hope is to attract - it's no fun getting ganked over and over again, and people will just give up and leave.
Obviously, it's not always going to be balanced... I'd even go so far as to say that most of the time, the zones have a big leaning in one direction or the other. But as long as it switches back and forth and everyone gets a chance to actually PvP, and not just get ganked repeatedly for an entire night, then it's fun, and people will hopefully start showing up more.
Yup, atm its the only zone where I cant switch >_> But I recommend normal servers.
Thanks to double exp, I now have characters on both sides so I can switch - I'd love normal servers as well.

It'd be good to see more of this sort of thing going on, preferably on the live servers, I personally much prefer zone PvP to arena PvP, and always prefer playing my characters at level 50. It'd be good to get enough people in there on both sides that one 3-5 person team using voice coms can't completely inbalance the zone.
RV on Union was fun for a while last night, a shame we didn't get more consistantly high numbers on the villain side. When we did, it was quite enjoyable.

I had thought of that, I think we should make a global channel on the actual servers as well. Doing it as a sg was just to get rough numbers, i guess. Don't want a case of 5 people defiant and 20 on union type thing.
Any other ideas, or problems?
