Anywho i think i seem to have lost the point. just downloading the US client now and on my way to freedom to see the difference. the pvp zones pulled me back into this game and if it stays the way it is now i shall be leaving again to go back to *shudders* WoW *ducks for cover*

Yeah, it's a joke, considering our servers probably hit 200-300 people, you'd of thought there'd be some PvP around in the Arena, or good action in the zones, but no. It's not encouraged y'see.

Funny how alot of these names mentiond here got pwned in Warburg by a 3 defender and 2 blaster team - even with greater than 2-1 odds against!
The right team makeup can make all the difference.

Yes it was a team of 5 - not it's not a bad thing - yes it was pretty much unstoppable - making the point that so called 'great' PvPers in this instance stand no chance due to decent team make up - even if the numbers were not in our favour.
PvP is imbalanced between ATs - but there are good AT combinations and player skill doesn't have a great deal to do with success in this instance.

i can't speak for anyone but for myself, i find the pve in this game dull and have done for a while, i have two end game chars galeforce and lady essence both of which were made for pve well before issue 4, neither of which are that good in solo pvp, gale in particulr was hit hard by ED and toggle drop nerfs (though i totally understand why these changes were necessary). now i only pve to level new toons to try in pvp and the 20-30 mark is quite easy to achieve before i once again get bored, high enough to enter Sirens so that tends to be where i stay. i don't know, but i doubt, if i'm the only one so maybe level 30 arena tournaments would get a larger crowd? or possibly level 32 to get the best out of yuor primary, just a thought.
but having said that if level 30 pvp is as popular as it was a few months ago sirens would be a lot better and we probably wouldn't be having this converstaion.
I dislike warburg though the level range makes it a lot more challenging (troller pets, granite MoG etc.) the FFA seems imo to favor the quick killers (blasters stalkers) and those who can survive them or even groups of them (tanks, brutes, scrappers) defenders, corruptors, controllers, and domintors are gonna find it much harder without a full team (don't get me wrong i'm sure theres a few of each archtype who can cope solo though i have yet to see it). and tend to avoid these places unless there's a team to go with. MM's played well (or not so well) can of course fall into either of the three categories. i avoid the place because the only pvp toon i have who can get in is DS and she's 37 respecced to a level 30 pvp build no slots in the over thirty powers etc. when i have tried finding a team seems to be too important and difficult, even allowing vills and heroes to team could help there, i know it's not very RP but then neither is heroes killing/"arresting" each other.
