Captain Daring:
Old fashioned hero, the result of a government super-soldier program. Has an enormous ego and is essentially a male chauvinistic jerk. A cross between Captain America and Futurama's Zapp Brannigan.
Captain Fury:
Former Vanguard, who lost his men while they were infiltrating a Rikti mothership. He blew up the reactors to escape, exposing himself to radiation and gaining super-powers. He became a hero to keep the memory of his men alive.

Phillip Royce:
Powerful psychic, formerly with the 5th Column's infamous Nacht Division. However he grew increasingly sadistic and drew too much attention, so he was eventually shunned and became independant.
James Baker:
Former Vanguard. Became disillusioned when the government faced out him and other military officers in favor of super-beings. Eventually started hating them and joined the Sky Raiders, but he quit when their agenda wasn't anti-super-power enough.

Zortel I : Zorielle Rolando, 37 year old former CEO of ZorTel Industries, now lives out of the city on Rolando Island in the South Pacific. Has a wife and three children, often aids Portal Corps, SERAPH and DATA in situations. Types of RP: In-Mission, Casual.
Zortel III : Jessica Kade, 1 and a half years old. A nanohuman created as a result from an accident, Jessica is fairly exuberant and eccentric, and very friendly. She often flies about the city helping people with their problems and lives on Rolando Island with her family and partner Kiyarii. Types of RP: Casual, Pocket D, Statue, Mission.
Fusebox: Hannah Rolando, 17 and 3/4 years old. Adopted daughter of Zorielle and Tessa, Hannah was a former outcast and was jailed in Juvinile Hall for 6 months for theft. Now a hero, and quite the renowned cyberpath, she has just undertaken a job for GIFT in helping young mutants needing counselling. Types of RP: Statue, Pocket D, Casual, Mission.
Cauter: Lancelot Silverstone, 25 years old. Lance possesses a mutation which makes him sweat a petrochemical concution in abundance. His suit of powered armour prevents him from catching fire and channels this excretion into a formidible weapon of firey blasts. He works alongside the PPD and Emergency Services. Number Nine: Nene Ninnezt, 1 year old Crey built Chronomanipulation Gynoid, works for DATA as a Rikti Language Translator. Nene stays at Doctor Temporis' laboratory and is continuing to develop her personality and socializing skills, with some hiccups along the way. Types of RP: Casual, Statue, Pocket D
Madame Midknight: Jane Darc, mid-twenty something sentient and intact zombie who runs a successful parapsychology, ghostbusting and 'living impaired mediation' agency. A very odd sense of humour. She is rather geeky, and is currently dating hero Jared 'Dark Stone' Scott. Types of RP: Casual, Pocket D, Statue, Mission.
Juan Ross, Isaac Anderson, Sophie Reynalds 19, almost 21 and 16 and three-quaters respectively, Juan is a Psychology student going out with Minako Nizishumi, Isaac is a barman going out with Sophie and Sophie is a schoolgirl, Mina's best friend and girlfriend. The four appear to have a polyamarous relationship. Juan is quiet and sensible, Isaac is charmingly twisted and wicked, and Sophie is sweet and quite learned about the world. The three are all mutants. Types of RP: Statue, Pocket D, Casual.
Villains
Jan Boa Jan is 22 years old, and appears to be either a mutant or, if her claims are true, the progeny of a human father and Snake mother. She has a lot of snakelike characteristics, and is a small-time crook with a slight flair of eco-activism, dabbling in drug and poison synthesizing and legwork for other villains as she sets up her gang. Types of RP: Mission, Pocket D, Casual.

The Amber Banshee (Sonic/Energy Blaster) Outgoing and friendly university student, she has recently discovered that her powers come from Fae magic. A talented singer/songwriter as well, she is currently trying to balance her life of University/music/heroing. Still searching for her absent father. Currently affiliated with The Militia.
Cinderstrike (Fire/Energy Blaster) Brash, aggressive playboy, known for charming and offending in equal measure. Constantly smells of cigars, bourbon and sulphur. Occasionally depressed, can be found on his yacht in Talos Island. Occasional slips in his appearance have lead people to think it might be an illusion, covering his true nature. Currently unaffiliated.
Unit 29 (Inv/En Tanker) Sentient construction unit, fascinated by human society. Does not get to socialise or work much due to caring for his disabled creator. Currently affiliated with the Militia.
Ravenblade (Claws/Regen Scrapper) The Amber Banshees cousin, he was part of the Councils Vampyrii experiments before he escaped them. Moody, reclusive and prone to fits of rage. Currently unaffiliated.

Dark Rose Tara (Necro/Dark Mastermind) Formerly best friend of The Amber Banshee, an illegal drug opened a hole in her mind to the Netherworld from which she draws her powers. Not so much a villain, just willing to do the dirty work of whoever hires her. Has acted heroically on a couple of occasions. Flirtatious and outgoing, she can be overly provocative at times.
Lady of Shadows (MA/SR Stalker) Once a lawyer working for Crey, she became part of a genetic experiment to bond human and animal DNA. Now with the genes of a bat, she is a polite, well-spoken assassin working under the delusion that she is some sort of aristocracy. Currently affiliated with Primal.

Known to have animosity towards the supergroup Cirque de la Lune and it's members, and is a former member herself.
Tiger Dark: Nictus clone of Miss Ellie, calling herself Eloise or Tiger Dark. Was once a part of Ellie until seperated on New Years eve 2005/6, by the temporary death of Miss Ellie. Known to have intense hatred of the characters April Stevens (Timekeeper), and Mileena Lim. Extremely dangerous.
Ice Sore: Alaskan heroine, primarily worked as a mountain rescue worker due to her ice based powers. Visiting the city for a few months for a change of scenery.
Villains
Grave Mistress: Dimensional duplicate of Jessica Stoneberg (Grav Mistress). A necromancer of great power though brought under the partial control of te grand vampire, Mileena Lim.
Arnie the Biker: Small time thug and gang leader working his way up on the Rogue Isles.

Lady Patriot (Heroine)
A golden-age inspired heroine, Sarah tries her best to uphold the City's law and vanquish evil. She is inspired by her father's work as a hero, and strives to be like him. She was once a shy, decent girl, but recently (to quote Nightschild) has been "corrupted" by Nick and his ideals.
Fallen Patriot (Villain)
Lady Patriot's 'evil' dimensional double. She was banished to this dimension by the hero she killed, and lost her memories and powers along with it. Since coming, she has made friends with Roselin and Nightschild, but has cause no end of trouble for Sarah.
Feyth (Villain)
Feyth is a Fallen 'Angel', once serving the religious cult leader known only as "The Father". She was sent to kill Lady Patriot some twenty years ago, but failed, and fell from grace. She is know out to kill Sarah no matter what.
Mister Patriot (Hero)
Lady Patriot's father. Once a great hero, he retired after Feyth cut his leg off for defending his baby daughter. Recently he has been getting back into shape and taking to the streets, with the aid of a magic sword. He is currently trying to make a name for himself and defend his daughter from Feyth.

Fusebox - Daughter of former ZorTel Industries CEO's Zorielle and Tessa Rolando, Hannah Rolando worked briefly for GIFT before quitting. An Electrokinetic and Cyberpathic mutant, Hannah has a firm interest in PC's and gaming. A former Outcast, she spent a few months in Juvinile Hall for some minor crimes in her youth, but has redeemed herself. She runs thefusewire.org, a popular internet gaming site, and lives out of Paragon City, but visits often to hero and see friends.
Cauter - Lance Silverstone went missing for a while over Christmas in Bloody Bay, but is back now as the hero Cauter, also known as the Burning Sensation, and is determined to make himself known as a great hero. He's confined to his suit for most of the time, due to the nature of his powers, though tries to keep upbeat about this.
Number Nine - Nene Ninnezt has come a long way from her beginings as a simple gynoid, with an extensive social circle and group of friends now. A member of the Guardians of Destiny, the Crey built automaton has the ability to alter time and space locally within reason. Her best friend is Jane Darc, and she has a lot of contact with members of the Silent Tempest. She used to work for DATA in their Rikti Translation Unit, but is now unemployed.
Madame Midknight - Jane Darc is dead, and dead proud of it. A zombie, raised by powerful magics, she is a member of the Guardians of Destiny and dating fellow member Dark Stone. Her best friend is fellow GoD member Nene, and Jane can often be seen dragging Nene out to clubs of various reputation. In addition to her work as a parapsychologist, ghost buster and 'mediator to the living impaired', she GM's at the Wizard's Well in Galaxy City on Thursdays.
Storm Sapphire - Emily Preston used to be the weathergirl on Channel 7's Breakfast Paragon, until her life was changed by a kidnap attempt from the Circle of Thorns, and bonding with a Peacebringer. Now, Emily fights crime and trains in her newfound gifts as a Peacebringer, but is prone to bouts of rage, anger and depression, as well as talking out loud to her Kheldian half.

Jan Boa After a brief stint in the Zig, Jan Boa is out and looking to rebuild her buisness as a jill of all trades, earning money safely by protection, extortion, bodyguarding, and dealing in a manner of things, including poisions and drugs. With her innate poisonous gifts, from her heritage as she claims of being a half snake, and her skill with pistols and commanding thugs to do her work, Jan's good at what she does. And seeking revenge on Storm Sapphire for putting her away, a dish that is best served cold.
Austin F. Pacat - There's something of the night about Austin, a lawyer who's won 180 consecutive cases. Perhaps the fact that he's not a slimeball lawyer, or is honest and seems genuinely concerned for justice?
Girl Gyronaut Gina Holstrom is the preppy, valley-girl daughter of Holstrom Technical Industries CEO David Holstrom. Rich, spoiled and rather silly at times, she seems to have an addiction to cola. In order to protect her from kidnapping attempts, her father has given her some force-field generating gloves and a robot to protect her. Her father also seems to want her to continue the family buisness and learn the skills and techniques he has.

Just an idea but could future posts have a quick blurb after the characters name helps you picture them a bit easier if you have never ran into them before. Maybe some of the old posts could have something small edited in too.
