Also with I7, buffs will be transferable to pets. Should I recast my Sing when I hit Vanguard? If I do, anyone targeting through it will suddenly be in trouble until they can find another pet to use.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good question. I guess the only way to know is to test it, since I thought that the buff would transfer if you fired it when the pet was out rather than firing the pet after you've fired off Vanguard.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd suggest if we want to transfer them we stagger the transfer in case we have 2/3 of the holding group loosing target together and have hami break free
I don't think theres a great number of singularities out so maybe have 1 person coordinate it - would require everyone with one to let whoever it is know.
Of course if the buff transfers thats not an issue.

You could always nominate a Singularity (mine for example) that people can target through, and I won't re-summon it at any point during the holding phase, that way you can be sure that one won't lose target. I'm sure if I had it targeted the whole time you could target me and do a /assist to get to the singularity ...

I should be there with Tridento - 44.5 at the moment, so 45 will be dinged beforehand - providing I can keep my son off the PC. So, if anyone sees him on Union, tell him to log off, so his dad can get on.

This may well be the first Hami Raid of I7, and if it isn't that raid will happen at some point, so with that in mind...the AV changes will make mito clearing much tougher - while I don't doubt that 50 people all attacking the same target will bring it down no matter what, might it be an idea to have some -regen debuffers on standby so that, if it does become tough going, they can spring into action?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hamidon and the Mitos will still have the same number of hps in i7 as he/they have now...so don't think they have been affected by the monster/AV changes.

It's not their hp I'm worried about, it's their regen - the longer the mito's take to kill, the more chance of them splitting. Still, it all seems to be in good hands.

I think last time we did Mitos pretty fast comparing to the time before that. I suspect the reason was the use of enervating fields on the mitos.

About time I met this Hamidon, always seem to miss the raids, so im in.

One question, is travel abilities a must for this?

Fly is the most easiest since you also gotta fight some high-air mito's. Being in a team with a Group-flyer would help that alot.

The final Hami-whoopin you dont need a specific travel power since you can hit it while standing on the ground. Do mind that scrappers/tankers/non-holders only have to hit hami once and get back to coward-platform to reduce lag to a minimum.

Unfortunately, that won't work now. That was posted 2 years ago, before snipe range was reduced and pre-ED/i5.

The devs have said more than once that we aren't doing hamidon the "right" way, anyway. He has some weakness that nobody knows about which makes him defeatable with far fewer people.

I know hence the old, but there are still some good aspects within there and its an interesting read that i found while clearing out my favourites. I hope it may make a few more people make rads :P

The big lined up group of monsters blocking one of the bottle necks into the jelly. Are they significant in some way, cause its the only place it happens in the hive (there's about 22 of them so would still be an effort for anyone to test)

Does anyone know where I can find detailed info on Hami..eg Range, HP, ect.

I would really like to find out the "propper" way to defeat him
