Militia Thursdays

thursdays are a bit hard. 1 out of 4 of them i will be working and some i will be seeing my girlfriend.

i like the fact that people are asking me to IC team through chat handles. the Militia chat helps to see who's on aswell.

i was thinking about trying to set up an IC training session every once in a while.
just thought it'd be a fun idea.

What do you mean by an IC training session?

I think it'd be great if one of us was running something every night; there'd be plenty of choice then.

well you know in X-3 at the start where storm and logan are teaching the others to work as a team.

well that sort of thing, teaching each individual while in a team fighting bad guys where their place is in the team what they can do to help more, and what not.

i haven't thought through it all yet, but if there's enough interest...

Interesting idea. Might help us gel as a team a bit more.

My game times are sporadic but I am on all night two Mondays out of four so I will always be looking for IC team ups then if I'm around. I will be looking at the Militia channel and also Fusion FM which I belive has been mentioned before. I have also taken to displaying "Roleplayer" in my team search but I prefer a Tel first to establish if someone IC is asking me to team. If anyone wants to get hold of me, PM me or find me at @Dante in game. I intend to be getting Amber up a few levels tomorrow night so that we're at a good level on Thursday. I'll be looking to see if there are any other Rpers out there.

This Thursday I'm going to post similar teams to last week but I imagine there'll only be two as a couple of Charlie Team haven't contacted me and we'll probably be down at least two regula members. I'll post the teams either later today or tomorrow. As always, we'll have to see what happens on the night and form up to suit.

Didn't you forget booster ice?

I no this sis a bit last minute, but i was wondering if i could change character. I would like to change to a scrapper, i know its sudden so ill keep blitz if it effects everything. I just really like the idea i have for this charcter and blitz is somewhat hard for me to play at times, happy to stick with him tho if need be. I wanted to be the speedster(with a twist) of the group as no one has taken that role yet> Blitz was goin to have superspeed, but i thought it would be pointless as he would then o"utrun his arrows" in close range fight. Please give me your feedback as i will be needing to level Hyperdrive quite quickly if i can change

I've had second thoughts about the teams as if everyone turns up one will have 9 members. I'll split us into three and we can either stick with that or form two if we are short of people.

If anyone knows they won't be there tonight please post as it will make things a lot easier to organise.

I fully expect us to be in twop groups really but I thought I'd better plan in case of a full turn out. If you know you're going to be late it's worth mentioning in case you end up struggling to get on a team.

I'm thinking of suggesting a full Militia patrol in the Hollows(or somewhere else if you like) to see what we can take on together(2 or 3 teams working together)if you see what I mean. It could be a good exp gathering exercise and from an RP point of view it could be a reinforce The Hollows sort of thing. What do you think?

Personally, I'm not that keen on the Hollows but acknowledge that there's some good XP to be had there. Plus, it would be great to see the whole team together as a 'task force' if you will, interacting with each other. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Despite her less than convincing navigational performance during last week's session, Masked Angel actually quite likes the Hollows and would certainly be up for a Militia Patrol there

Greetings Fellowship,

with big pain i have to let you know that i will not be presence to aid you neither tonight or in the next weeks it seems. As i was meditating yesterday to bring the process of getting used of your planets magical aura in further progress to use my magical healing and lightning with my old power an accident or attack from an unknown entity happened not quite sure about that yet. First everything was quite normal i was hovering slightly over ground in my host Chaos Mages Library slowly drifting into my peaceful state and touching earths magical flows ever slowly adjusting to its unique melody, but instead off feeling the energy flowing through me and allowing me to get a part of its gentle song filling my soul and essence with an spark of it like it did happen last time and the few hundreds of times i did it on my homeworld. This time i was hit by an mahlstorm of upstreaming power ripping me out of my meditation and slamming my fragile physical frame into one of the huge bookshelves with extraordinary force.

Luckily my host was around in the room beside the Library, after hearing the tremendous noise and feeling the afterwave of the magical explosion washing over his magic senses he found me broken, bleedind and uncosious between his now to pieces shreeded bookshelf and magical tomes.

After using his healing powers to prevend my death, because the emergency teleport unit for the hospital was destroyed by the massive magical assault. I was able to open my eyes again but i am not in the physical state to go anywhere at the moment it seems. And even worser my magical powers have totally vanished, as i painfully found out when i came awake and try to heal myself. After the first wave of panic receded i tried other magics but i am neither able to use my healing power nor the smallest spark of lightning nor even lifting my body an inch from the ground.

My dear host spend after this up to now mainly all of his most valuable time in investigating what happened to me and how he can help to restore my crippled magical condition. But the only thing he found out till now was that my aura seems to be tainted by utterly dark magics preventing any kind of natural magic flowing into me to use them as well as preventing any further healing of my physical body rather then keeping me in an weakened but halfway mended form.

Normally when times of total despair and hopeless hit me i would now meditate and find an solution in dear union with nature itself, but after my last experience when i meditated in the library i better not try. First because i am only an guest in my hosts house and i already ruined his really old boodshelf and some of his ancient tomes and second in respect of my already worse own condition.

I will struggle to assist my host Chaos Mage in preventing my death as much i can in my current condition and really hope that i can join you once again in the near future.

So the only thing i can do for now is to wish you all good luck and hope that your ongoing will be of success and without any unexpected accidents like mine.
