I read the guide, I think its a sure way to crash the server.
As far as I know US left from this strategi when ED hit, cause the kin / healing cells werent strong enough. But Im really interested in how it turns out and good luck.

They were using this strategy after ED, so I think that with the right numbers it can be done, we'll see if we get enough people.

I'm still a bit worried about the fact that we aren't clearing the mitos, but whatever - at least if they get involved, it won't be a raid failure, as we can just clear them as plan b, as opposed to Hami spawning a load more of them...
Guys dont forget that the only toggles you need 2 turn on are mez protection. Hami does untyped damage which means ur shields will only incrase the lag. They will NOT save you so turn em off.

Well spotted, in fact, I hope we won't need even those because of the AM res to mez effects, if anything else fails, I'll have a bubbler(and only one)to turn on Dispersion Field to keep us mez free.
Right I'm fairly new to this City of Heroes lark, so i've got a few questions.
1st - Whats a Hamidon?
2nd - Is lvl 18 far to low to take part?

Hamidon is basically a big bad blob, that takes 100+ heroes to take down and a lot of efforts.
Sorry but lvl 18 is indeed far too low, not because I don't want you but because you can't phisically enter the zone in wich he's in, unless you're lvl 45+.
The main reason to try and take him down is because he drops and enhancement that gives a bonus to 2 aspect of a power, (damage and accuracy, accuracy and range and so on).

I'll be turning up with Golden Golem, no epic hold, 6 slotted taunt ( slotted with 3 taunts and 3 recharges especially for the raid.).

If the Kin cell tactic will be a failure we'll make it the old way, clearing Mitos and all that, I hope that we'll be able to make this tactic work, tho!
If the planned tactic fails and we'll have to make it the old way it will take me a few minutes to set things up, I already have a basic idea for the tasks, but hopefully we won't need a plan B.

RL has decided to get in the way of my VL. So instead of protecting the City I shall be in my alter-ego guise and socialising. Sorry. Will have to keep an eye open for the next one. Did bloody good getting Spiritess to 46 as well in readyness.
