Targeting priorities
All of them, although I tend to target dominators and corruptors first because they have no mez protection.
i try to get dominators and rad corrupters first, they pose the biggest threat to me. However I am often on stalker-guard duty in a team, so I prolly let my team worry bout doms and rad corrupters while i smack the poor stalkers that think theyre invisible to me
(This is when playing Ice Duke, if I pvp with other chars I just pick the one thats the biggest pain in the butt to me)
"god, how many devs did hami have to sleep with to get ED?"

If a perfect world and pvp zone were well balanced with all alt types in it i would target MMs, Corruptors, then Dominators first as they tend to be the easiest to kill, but in the real world pvp zones tend to be filled with Brutes or stalkers. As the chances of me being able to even target a stalker is slim that just leaves Brutes. If i do find any of the other 3 alts it feels like christmas day has arrived and off i trot to pick up my prezzies
Controller, defender, blaster, scrapper, tank is my order of preference too

When I'm playing with Doctor Gonzo (En/En), I tend to have a slightly different way of viewing the battle - I'll either ask for a CM or equivalent, or use a BF, and head for: Brute/Stalker/Dominator-Corrupter-MM.
Brutes go down first because they're not pretty when they're angry - best to drop them quick, and get them out of the way.
Stalkers go next, because of the obvious risk of AS.
As for the last three... it depends largely on the situation and powerset/player. I tend to get rid of known threats first, then unknown quantities, and then the less-skilled players.
Of them all, Stalkers tend to be the trickiest to drop for now - they have no qualms about running, and I rarely follow until everything else has dropped, or I have. I'll wait until the Brutes have full SOs and slots to make my final call on that, though.

MMs first for me, Nice easy kills
Anything really, but if there are a lot of pets around I tend to take out MM's first because they screw up my targeting. I also like Brutes because they think they can stand and take my damage(litte tip: you can't). Stalkers tend to run at the first sign of trouble, so I don't spend too much time on them, unless I see one about to AS a teammember.

So I've heard; sadly, I'm on the wrong server to do anything about it. What powerset is she?

Playing my controller, dominators are the first to feel my wrath, as they're most similar to controllers, and very nasty creatures indeed.
Playing my warshade, if I can spot a stalker, it's them first, if I see a mastermind, I get stuck in the middle of their pets to buff myself up and lay the smackdown on them.

Put yer money where yer mouth is on wednesday lmao. (tis a jest)
I kinda agree with the OP's ordering I'd prolly go for that too tho its sometimes more of a case of who's closes or which AT I am at the time. With Raven my hero its more a case of who can i pester then let the rest kill - psionics finally finding a use (pants damage grr)
Dominators and controllers can be easy targets (stalkers after an AS too - low HP) but as PvP is growing its really becoming important to know the player and their powers or style rather than just the AT as some are buggers to kill no matter teh AT. Though some it seems just cant handle defeat no matter who they are or you are - sad but true.

I love it when people think my Master Mind is a easy kill there is nothing more statisfying than handing some chump his [censored].
Hmm my targeting priorities..
1: Gangers and other pve bots. (i'm nice like that).
2: Any group where 2 villains or more are attacking a solo heroe.
3: Any villain that is attacking some one who asks for help.
4: Stalkers and masterminds.
5: Brutes (like I can ever damage them..at most I can evily slow their computer down by over use of my sonics..or perhaps make them blind by throwing myself infront of their char).
My run away list.
1: brutes. (I cannot hurt them but they can kill me).
2ve bots.
3: any villain who tps me into bots/drones.
4: Masterminds and stalkers or any hold based char...Why run when I cannot get away?
"but you can hear AS and escape"..[censored]..
You hear AS then it hits possibly before or after impale/lunge/kick of death.
In a team up I will try to either act as bait (all sonics are good for), or defend the team vital chars (defenders/controllers).
well.. most of times stalkers tend to use a buildup before AS, now if you hear that its your cue to run like a wee lil baby girl. Unless of course as you said you are bait in which case its a hook line n sinker

I would love to see the look on some of the people faces when my horde appears out of the shadows and hands them there backside on a plate. Watch them tremble in fear while my horde remains protected by my powers.
/em muahahaha
Of course it all goes wrong when a blaster spots you first and wipes you out in 2 hits.

Not everyones as dumb as the people you seem to be facing. I see a Masterminds pets, I know theres a Mastermind nearby. Killing the Mastermind kills all the pets.
Hmmm, wonder who I'm coming after? Hopefully you'll bubble up PFF, which makes killing you much easier
I remove biggest threats first. That is not always a specific AT. Its often a good player with a AT that doesnt otherwise give problems, but because he knows how to use it, it becomes a problem.
A Paragon Defender
Hmmm so playing an ice/kin corr or a mind/thorn dom doesnt make me popular with the hero side?
/em shock
I'll pretty much go with original posters of course depending who i play and what the certain situation is.
I'd go for ya flicknife but only cuz I know your AT is similar to mine except swap the ice for dark and would be a fun little fight.
It's just a shame that it seems the majority of those villains that go to sirens are stalkers (least from what I've seen the trend being) I can relate though as stalkers are prolly the most safe AT to play for PvP and a lot of peeps hate losing (who doesn't )....Now don't hang me on that statement, thats just how i see it. I could be wrong as I haven't played one yet
The times I've been in sirens sure have been rough being a kinetic def. I've found myself at the end of stalkers AS many a times, quite rightly so as i would go for the easy kill myself
When I am facing a mix of hero ATs (thinking back to S4 really here) I have a preferred attack priority of Controller, defender, blaster, scrapper, tank , possibly swapping the controller and defender over based on observation.
What thoughts do people have about what villains to smack first? I open the floor to veteran pvpers there....
