Necromancy (MM)/Kinetics (Def/Corruptor),
because Kinetics works really well in melee, which is where Necro seems to spend their time - plus through upgrades you get some controller like abilities as well.

As would Rad emission/storm! Bring on the debuffs! That would be pretty crazy. Enervaerating field here, a bit of hurricane there, a bit of lingering rad and rad infection sprinkeled on top, a bit of snowstorm and freezing rain added to the mix and then here comes the lightning storm!
This was precisely the original design plan for City of Heroes
As for sets I'd go for Robotics (MM)/Necromancy (MM) - 12-13 Henchmen (one set for range, one set for melee), two L32 Upgrades, two L6 Upgrades (quicker upgrade times) and six attacks on top of the henchmen's attacks.

Like I ever go around corners first! Plus even as my Blaster I've never been one-shotted by a sniper (two-shotted maybe )

Blasters have better hitpoints than a MM, and if one sniper spots you...it will never be just one shot
Ok, If you could combine any two of the main powersets in the entire game series (so thats barring kheld sets and not including power pools and anchilary pools, but including both CoH and CoV sets) what would you make and what would make it uber? Be as creative as you like! ANy sets from any AT remember! WHat would be so ridiculously powerful/fun/just plain amusing to play?
