I don't know if you were being serious or not, but I was this time. If you're going to not EVER post, why not change your handle to something like dorkfish45923 so that other people can make use of that name? Doesn't make any sense to me.
The only thing I can think of is that someone registered and then left the game, forgetting all about it. And since your name is "reserved" for you for if you ever do come back.... yeah.
The devs hate forum-merging.
