Anyone know how to keep the forum from resizing avatars? The one I would like to use is about 45 x 45 and looks good at that size. The forum resizes it up to 80 x 80 and the avatar gets pixleated and looks not so good.
It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.
Find a bigger, original picture? Resample it down to the correct size?
Forum forces 80 x 80 regardless of what you try to put in; some people like to put in hi-res, full size pictures at 5+ megs and have it load up in the 80x80 size. Fun stuff!

Well crud, guess I'll have to find something else. Wanted to use my Battalion Coin from Iraq but I've only got a single digital image of its design and that image is a low quality JPEG.

I'd copy the source avatar and paste it into the middle of a new 80x80 avatar. That way your avatar is 80x80, but your pic is still 45x45 inside it.

I resize all of mine to fit 80x80.
When I put in a new avatar I usually have to try 4-5 times just to get it to show up.
