Like all recipes, it's a drop. There is no specific enemy to fight. This specific recipe is a level 20-40 drop that has a random chance to drop from any boss you fight who is in that level range.

There is nothing you can do to increase chances of a drop beyond making sure you are fighting enemies in that range and fighting mostly bosses (if you're over level 40, you can use Ouroboros to fight enemies in that range and still get drops). It's important to note that fighting enemies in the AE does not count and you will get no drops from fighting in the AE unless you are on a Dev's Choice arc as those follow the same drop rules as the rest of the game rather than the AE rules. So doing flashback missions somewhere in the 20-40 range on high difficulty would be the best bet for getting it as a drop, though the chance still isn't terribly high.

Aside from getting it as a drop, you can buy it with Merits, get it from a Random Rare Recipe roll (Merits), get it from a Gold Class Recipe roll (Tickets), or buy it from the Market.

Have fun! And make sure you choose an arc in the correct range. You can run arc after arc so long as they're somewhere between 20 and 40 in level range, or you could pick a single mission and farm it repeatedly.

Personally, I'd recommend running whole flashback arcs because you'll get Merits on completing them. Eventually, even if you don't get the Miracle: Recovery as a drop, you'll have enough Merits to buy it outright from the Merit Vendor. That way you're guaranteed to get it, one way or the other.

All Merit Vendors are exactly the same. Basically, here's your options for getting a Miracle: Recovery (or any IO) - <ul type="square">[*] Buy it on the Market with influence/infamy. In this case, a lot of influence/infamy.[*] Buy it from a Merit Vendor (any Merit Vendor, there's one in every zone, and there is no difference between them whatsoever aside from their appearance) for Merits. 240 Merits in this case.[*] Take a Random Rare Recipe roll from a Merit Vendor for 20 Merits and get lucky (you must roll in the correct range, so 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 and 40-45 would all have a possibility of giving a Miracle, but a 46-50 roll would not).[*] Take a Gold Class Recipe roll from a Ticket Vendor and get lucky (you must roll in the correct range, so 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 and 40-44 would all have a possibility of giving a Miracle, but a 45-50 roll would not).[*] Get it as a drop while fighting a boss in the 20-40 level range. If you are above level 40, you would probably need to use Ouroboros to do this since gray-con bosses do not give drops.[/list]

You can also get it as a random rare recipe roll, either rolling with merits, or rolling the gold recipe roll with tickets. The chance of getting one that way is much higher than the chance of getting one from a random enemy drop.

Sorry but I had to fix that. Driving me nuts.

My recommendation would be to go with the merit route since you're far more likely to get it sooner that way than with drops. Of course, you can still try to get it from drops while getting the merits - either through Ouroboros or TFs that cap at 40 and below.

I'd go the Oro route. It's a very rare drop, but you may get it. And you'll have to be set to fight bosses, so you'll be getting other good drops you can sell. Have a race between inf and merits!

One thing - I would avoid the 20-24 &amp; 30-34 ranges - both of those havea larger number of recipes than their following ranges (25-29, 35-39) due to many recipes either ending at 20 or 30. As such, 30-34 is one of the worst to roll in for a specific recipe because it has the most different possible awards (every recipe that goes 10/20-30, and 30+).

This also applies to ticket rolls, although I think the ticket rolls are a little more weighted towards what people like.

Just run the Positron TF 4 times, and you'll be able to buy one with the merits. You can have it in 4 days, if you want.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend banking on one dropping... The chance of any recipe dropping off a boss is already only 8%, and the chance of that recipe being a rare is 1/41, or about 2.4%... so the chance of a boss dropping a rare would be about 0.192% (1 in 520 bosses). Then, when you factor in that you'd need it to be the one rare out of up to 100 possible, you're looking at about a chance of .00192%, or 1 in 52,000+ boss kills, and then you have to consider that it's a healing set, which isn't calculated as all that useful by most AT's/powersets (you're much more likely to get damage instead), and it gets even worse.

Yeah... it's just not practical to purposely wait for it to drop from a boss, and you may never get one that way since there's no "streak-breaker" on what recipes drop.

If you REALLY, REALLY want a Miracle +Recov, I'd say you're best off going for the 240 merits and buying it outright, and if not that, go for merits and make random rolls, or even just buy it from the market. If, while you're earning all those merits, you happen to get extremely lucky and have one drop, well, then more power to ya, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say you'd hit the 240 merit mark long before you have one drop.

EDIT: Fixed my faulty math. It's still bad though.

I have never gottena miracle +rec from any ingame encounter. I have gotten about 6 of them off random gold rolls picking the 35-39 range from spending AE tickets.

I would personally look into using merits to buy something like LotG +Recharge, sell it and then buying the recipe I want ... I'm at work but I think that would net you the recipe AND a nice bit of INF to work with .... also look into crafting the recipe before you sell it ...
