So what's the fastest 1 to 50 time you have heard?

I just heard someone saying hardcore gamers were going from lvl 1 to 50 in a day before AE came out. This I found hard to believe in that I remember certain RO (repeat offender) players forming teams during double XP weekends and taking 2 days to reach this mark.

I could see someone reaching 1 to 50 in a day during the Winter Lords event (I got a controller to lvl 21 in under an hour), and I have been on farms (both AE and content ones) where xp was good but not one-day-to-50 good.

Is this one day to 50 thing common? Am I out of the PL loop? To answer my own question, the fastest I heard was 2 days during double xp weekend.

I've heard 3 hours and 4 hours to 50. I've actually verified a friend of mine who did it in just over 4. Needless to say, the character was deleted during the controversial AE exploit user purge, but it was definitely possible.

That's faster than I've ever heard of. The fastest I heard was around the 5 hour mark, but I've never seen it.

I did an MA farm at one point, the only one I've done, and in about 45 minutes I went from 12 to 20, then quit the team. I thought that was pretty fast, but no faster than, say... the wolf farms back in the day doing dumpster diving. I think the fastest I'd PL'd before that was when they introduced that Oranbega (OrangeBagel, lawlz) with that room with all the Behemoth Portals, before they nerfed the exp on the Behemoths.

I have it down to under 150 hours solo, normal content, heroic from 600 hours a few years ago.

I'll have to run one through MA solo and see how fast it goes not having to travel and run Fed Ex missions.

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

As a benchmark, my latest 50 a sonic/sonic defender, levelled up primarily on mission teams and a few TFs, had 57 hours playtime all told. No PLing a few 'normal' AE missions if thats what the team was doing.

I think my Shield/Ax tank will be even ahead of that (currenly 46.9 so it wont be long).

My best is somewhere between 5 and 6 hours, which included the server crashing for 10 minutes. I'm sure that could have been more refined, organized and efficient and broken 5. Then I know a few other tricks that could, without a doubt, bring it down to 4 flat.

I do the basic "All AE Boss map" with my SS/Fire Brute and Fire/Kin Corruptor. I think doing a map of all Fake Nemesis bosses would be significantly faster though my duo cannot handle them.

I've been thinking about doing 5-15 minute AE tests to see how fast certain setups are at power leveling. My initial thoughts on how to do this were...
Spawn any map for any number of players.
Have a player of the level you want Exemplar/Malefactor a level 50 running herostats to that specific level. Example (we want you as a 45 while we fight 52s, have a level 45 stand outside the map, exemplar a 50 running herostats and the 50 enters)
The beat up peoples go into the map
The 50 runs herostats and sees the Influence per minute

Any suggested changes? Do I need to adjust the total for bosses because they give more Inf than XP?

From one of the PvP boards there was a thread(I think it's be purged since) with someone claiming they got 1-50 in 1 hour. Had a screen shot of the level 50 that clicked the "Time in game NPC" and it said 1 hour.

Granted there are ways they could have doctored it or level pact and keep that character offline. Though this was in the height of the MA farmz, so I bet it was legit.

At least for me... my fastest to 50 is my newest troller fire/kin (sigh... yes a fire/kin)

The fastest I had heard prior to this thread was 3 hrs; now it's 1.

But under 10 is a fairly "normal" time for PL farms, MA or no (for reference, most of the meow farm claims were around 8-9 hrs).

For me personally the fastest would likely be my Cold/Ice Defender, who levelled from 23->50 solely on TFs, but I never bother to check. I'd say under 50.

Apparently, when khelds were first introduced, people had them at level 50 less than 48 hours after the AT was introduced to the game. Obviously, this was without AE, double XP or patrol XP.

Yeah it's not that hard to get to lvl 50...I know that when on a medium/full team of my sgmates/friends we can steamroll through content and get really good xp (especially with patrol/double xp). All you really need is a team and the ability to either sit down/play for x amount of hours or have other friends log in for you and play for you while you sleep/do whatever.

The fastest I ever got to 50 was about 77/78 hours (not sure on exact time)...that was when VEATs were introduced/released to live and my VEAT was teamed with all of my sg's/friends VEATs...an 8 man/woman VEAT team...good stuff!

And of course that was before the MA...just doing normal missions/content...

I see no reason to exempt a 50 to give you a fake 45... Just duo what you normally do (the brute and kin combo) set for 8 and check what hero stats is giving you there and then do the same thing for the maps/enemy types you want to test. That will give you your answer there. Unless of course your testing something else as well
